I’m a BMW tech with nearly 30 years experience and I’ve been modifying BMW’s for the same amount of time and I’ve built my own hill climb / tarmac stage rally race cars for the last 22 years so I understand better than most what goes into building a car like this. For the money you’ve done a great job bro. I’m impressed with the chassis and suspension upgrades you’ve made. The chassis is the most important thing for a competition car as is the weight reduction. The power delivery is ideal for your needs and it’s a very well built car

@@TenzaMotorsports it’s refreshing to see decent content on grassroots motorsport done properly with a good tutorial to help other people get involved themselves. It’s easy to find bad advice online and it’s easy to waste your time and money for the sake of not researching properly. I will be sharing your channel with anyone that asks me about the best way to get into motorsport because I think you have done a better job of it than I could have done. I’m better with spanner’s than keyboards lol 😂

I think you made the right choice for you. I know people who also have built M3's and that was the right choice for them. I think you have an amazing car, and you should be very proud! This was a very thought out and well-designed track focused car.

Good for you man. I hope you have a TH-cam channel to show your progress and share your experience cos there are lots of people out there that lack the ability and confidence to do exactly what you are doing. I have been in the modified BMW scene for 3 decades now and I’ve had enough of horror stories from people that have spent huge money on upgrades from what are nothing more than incompetent people that have no idea what they are doing. I’m a big believer in helping people take on the project themselves as they will save themselves lots of money andlearn lots about engines and themselves during the build. Hit me up on ig if you need any advice or if you run into any problems during your build or prep buying parts etc @bevbilt_mark

Not idiot at all. I’m about spending that much on my mazda mx5 nd, maybe even more because import tax and shipping are expensive here. And i still continue spending more and more.
Had a question. I didn't hear anything about the side skirts extensions, and I searched your channel for them with no answer. Are the side skirts 330ci ones with extensions? If so, where did you get the side skirt extensions and how much? I've been looking for good 330ci side skirt extensions with no luck. Also, great e46 content. It's a good resource for us 330ci owners.
If you build a car like I did, over several years, the race car ends up stealing more than you realize lol. I thought I was around 22K into mine.. turns out I was wrong!
Hey can you review a sprint booster v3 on the e46 i heard it makes the throttle response significantly better and was wondering how it'll impact a supercharged e46
My throttle is already adjusted, i asked Active Autowerke to make the throttle super touchy. If the sprint booster would change the throttle overwriting the AA tune it would probably make it less responsive
I have owned a sprint booster and it works as advertised. In my opinion it’s worth the cost if you want a simple inexpensive way to remap your throttle.

exactly, power is on the bottom of the priority list, if the car isn't built to handle corners it really isn't a track car

Sorry, I guess I forgot to mention them! They are custom built by myself. They are 1/8” aluminum with a 90 degree weld in the rear.

Didn’t you swap the motor? How much was that?
I mention the motor at 8:00 It was the same M54B30 motor, just did a rebuild on the one I bought and swapped it.

I made them. The vents are M3 vents. I wrapped the M3 logo black and then I put 330ci on them

A local impound auction. Before they changed the rules and now require a dealers license.
