Interviewed Albert live on my air-shift in 1978 on the old WYEP (totally different station than the current one with the same call letters in Pittsburgh,Pa). We had to hit the local bar for two doubles and two beers. He insisted on buying. I could hardly stand up (1pm), Albert was fine. This is my favorite Alligator instro - Check out his earlier instros on TCF Hall label --- An electrifying player and showman and as nice a person as anyone can be.

This is genuine blues, funk, rock, roll and everything in between. There never was before him and will never be another Albert Collins.
