I saw Albert Collins at The Club Lingerie in Los Angeles with about 300 people. In the middle of a blistering solo he walks from the stage, out the front door, to the middle of Sunset Blvd. With cars passing on either side and his long guitar cord stretching back into the building, hundreds of fans were cheering him on from the sidewalk and passerby's in cars were high-fiving him as his music raged inside!!! Albert Collins was awesome

He was at once the most electrifying, most humble and most audience engaged blues guitarist. And to see him play a small intimate venue was otherworldly as he was everybody's best friend. We miss you, Mr. C!

This video interview is golden. So important to interview those legends about the old times before they are gone. Collins ain’t giving any interviews today.

Thank you for presenting blues music, including Albert Collins, and with an interview! He has his own unique style, and was underrated. I went to a few of his shows. I went excited and left exhilarated. 🎵

Great artist showman. Saw him at my local state college cafeteria where he wandered through the whole room with his "mile long" cable. Will never forget it. Thank you.

Thank you Albert for being so kind with the audience and of course me aftershow !
    RIP my friend.

For real! Not one of those tv appearances, where every song was lip-synched to the released record.
    Albert Collins, keepin it real.

I wonder if Collins ever had a bad night? I saw him two or three times and spoke with him briefly at Antone's in June of '90. He was such a positive guy!!! Best live entertainer I've ever seen. In other words if I could pick one guy to see again if it were possible it'd be Collins!!!

Ha ha! You can still hear the ice, even without a big old Fender twin pushing it!
