One of my friends made it big in videography (He reached Cannes festival) but only started as a passion along with IT job. If you have skills and business acumen it will work but solely for that profession you need immense talent, skills, network and german language. This is a bit tough for immigrant.

Depends on the job. I worked as a student in logistics department with full german but in data analytics with English. Also jobs (mostly customer facing) in restaurants and shops need german most of the time.

I think it totally depends on the experience you've had in the past. Because, I also know people who say it's pretty much easier in germany if we compare it to the west. Also, I found such youtube channels very discouraging to see that person itself earning there and still 'warning' people to not come to that country. Let's not generalize someone's personal experience.
It's not about discouraging but informing you about the current situation. The person who is warning you may be living there since years when job market was not as tough to crack as now, has european experience and speaks their language. Whereas you are just getting started so its going to be difficult for you and you need to know how to can be prepared better.

When in Rome you. Speak Italian when in Germany you obviously should speak German whilst working
To know german good you need learn it 1.5 years-2 years + 6 months to get job. People do some kind of career by this time!
