George Foreman is awesome as a person and as a boxer. He's my favorite heavyweight boxer of all time. Wish he got a chance at a rematch with Ali. I think he woulda learned from that loss and beat Ali if given a rematch. His comeback and win against Michael Moorer to win the IBF and WBA heavyweight titles was AMAZING. The Foreman Grill rules as well.
I agree but Ali was already presenting symptoms of Parkinsons in their first fight, that's a confirmed theory by mds. and psychiatrists who have reviewed his speech change progression and delayed reaction time progression. How tough does that make Ali in his fight against Foreman? Not debating you about Foreman, just thought you might appreciate that perspective. Now who would win in an Ali Foreman fight both men in their prime is a mor ponderous speculation. I think Ali because Foreman really took alot longer to learn boxing skills and Ai seemed much more naturally gifted. There's more to the imagined fight variables then I mentioned but those would be my biggest arguing points
when i first saw george when he fought in the olympics up to the fight with ali, i was scared by this image of an angry young man. then, for a long time he was out of boxing. when he came out endorsing the cooking grille just before he went back to boxing, he looked to me a better and happier man! long live george!
George Foreman! The man! You can see that Jim Brown influence in his background. He had that "Jim Brown" tough quality. Born tough. Great fighter and man...
George is an example of what can happen when a person from the wrong side of the track is given a chance. I wish people who look down on poor people who understand that if alot of poor youth were given chances like this they could be something.
You have to admire Joe Frazier, George has so much respect for Joe getting up every time he knocked Joe down. Those guy's had so much respect for one another.
Class. Unlike Ali. Everyone loves Ali as a vegetable now - but he was classless and nasty. Foreman would have beaten him 9 times out of ten if they did it over. Foreman annihilated the men that beat Ali. Ali went the distance three times with Frazier, the thoughest of them all - George knocked the crap out of Frazier etc. Had he not had his ten year break, he would have cemented his greatness amongst champions. Regains his crown at 46? Man, George Foreman was the greatest of all time
Ali was not without class and was just a smarter fighter than George..that's why he beat Foreman, I happen to like both men...boxers are special people and most had lot's respect for each other, Ali knew how tough Frazier would be on him it's a matter of styles so Ali abused Frazier to try and make him make mistakes in the ring. He did in fact go way overboard and I think he knows it now. But George may have never beaten a 60's version of Ali at all so to say 9 times out of 10 is ridiculous especially since he lost his only chance. But George definitely in top 10 for the heavyweights
@@nicolas4you Exactly. George doesn't beat the prime Ali ever. But George likely would have won a rematch. Ali was trending down. I think Ali knew it because he never gave George a rematch and Ali always gave rematches.
maybe ali was the best technical boxer but george is the best character ever in boxing. you see a man happy with himself, not talking bad about ali. george the people love you all over the world. god bless you
@Nautilus1972 depends on who you ask but had the fight been fought again the question of stamina would come in to question again the result would be the same as well.and the man you call a vegtable achieved more in just the time he got parkinsons than most will in lifetime I agree foreman seems a nice guy but bashing a guy which people should respect and admire for his positive achivments is not good.
one of the best of all time... waht an amazing character.
George Foreman is a incredible human being. An inspiration to millions of kids.
He named all his children George.

He is a good man.
Salut!
Foreman's a good interview. Back in the 70's he was so quiet. He's really a very intelligent guy.
George make a movie of your life!!!!

Where can you see Foreman and Liston sparring?
I met George at a neiman marcus few years back. He's a great guy pretty laid back.

I didn't know Foreman sparred with Liston back in the day. Interesting.
I saw that SNL episode and it kicked ass. I can't find any of it on TH-cam though because NBC has all of their videos yanked. Bummer.

Someday, i might be as good of a man as George Foreman.......oh wait, that will never happen. A nice spot in heaven for this man...nice spot.
This says allot about society see what good man he is now think about what he could have been if the guy wouldn't have took him under his wing
You know, people criticize the interviewer here. I think he does a good job. He's quite well-informed and respectful. Asks good questions, too.

the man is so humble esp about frazier knocking him down!
“Greatness doesn’t exist” what does he mean by that?
That guy giving the interview talks just like jimmy kimmel
@rediculousnicholas Exactly and that is how much george has changed as a man.
i think i forgot to say that im also a huge fan of ALI, ALI ist the greatest sportsman of all times
7:45 what a badass

George foreman was boxing
Lol, first he becomes champ then is seen as antisocial and grumpy. Then he comes back and is friedly and happy and loved by all. Including Ali
@Nautilus1972 would've should've could've
Too bad creepy interviewer
