Hi Todd, Awesome videos! Really informational. Question: Can you give me instruction on how to do a wheel alignment on the Trex? That will be greatly appreciated. My tires are wearing on the inside very quick so I'm defiantly due for an wheel alignment
Thank you. I did finally get my wheel alignment corrected. When I purchased my 2007 in 2016 the alignment was so far off when I drove the Interstate the tires would squeal and burn rubber. I did not do a video edit on that. It is a pain in the ass. Trial and error. Shoot me a private message on Facebook. I've got a graphic drawing that might help you. I'll try to guide you through the process.
Hey Todd… I have a 2022 and bought it with 550 miles. It’s at 900 now and chain seems a bit loose. I watched your other video on your machine where you have to adjust both sides to tighten the chain, but another guy with a 2021 says it’s only the drivers side that adjusts the chain and the passenger side adjusts the steering. Is this true? Should I just be adjusting the drivers side for my chain or do both sides evenly each time I adjust? Any help would be so appreciated. Thanks
Hi Daniel. Adjust both sides always and make sure the axle is the same in both slots on the swing arm. You can also look down the chain and make sure straight. I've heard this about steering wheel straightness and I disagree with that because you adjust that up front. Check out my alignment video for that. Thank you.
I'm in the market for a used TREX on the Kawasaki platform. You can find them all day at dealerships, but I'd much prefer to buy from a private seller. Seems like everyone who has one either sells to their neighbor or goes to the dealer. Do you know anyone who may be selling? And, if you are interested in speaking, how can I give you my information?
Hello. Dealers will be the best place to buy so you don't get scammed. I would call the Atlanta, GA dealer Durend Burnside Trexcite at 470.878.1434 for a new or used Campagna T-Rex. I plan to sell mine next year and order a new one. Love these things.
@@toddkerber Thanks! I am on the phone with Durend often. I just needed some reassurance. Guess I've been traumatized by the car salesmen of old 🙄. I am learning that this is truly a different kind of community, from sales to riders.
@@SocialsAwkwardI just received mine on Thursday January 11th and I got mine from Durend as well he is definitely good ppl , I'm actually pretty happy that Chevrolet dealership went back against our price agreement on a new Z06 bc I was able to fulfill my dream of owning a T-rex and it revs higher too 😅😂
