Is there a way to slide that bar out & get the motor out without removing the whole seat ? Also is replacing the recline motor plug & play? Or is there more to it ?
Can you just replace that motor without having to replace the entire back frame? I’m being told I have to replace the entire back frame just to replace the motor because it doesn’t come separately
@@Led94Zeppelin I was lucky enough that the motor was still good. I ended up removing the plastic cover and the switches where just not connected to the cover

Are you a repair shop or a mobile guy is this a personal project?

Too be honest I believe you can purchase the motor separate from the dealer. so you should be able to replace just the motor on it's own
My seat is stuck forward reclined all the way up after my battery died. Going to try to disconnect it.
Let me know what you find out and if you have access to a power probe definitely get ahold of it man🤙
