Constructed from durable 300D ripstop polyester with a UPF50+ rating that’s CPAI-84 fire resistant, with a heat-sealed PVC floor, a solid aluminium frame and a multi-connect system for attaching it to a compatible zip or sail track - the Foxwing Tagalong Tent won't let you down on your touring expeditions.
Our gear expert Ben kicks off the video by showing you exactly what you get with the tent, and how to set it up with your Foxwing awning, plus some tips and tricks for setting it up without any dramas. He also shows you how to attach a standard awning extension with the Tagalong tent, and how the tent marries up with a tapered wall.

I like the idea. I was expecting the tent to have it own separate wall and door to make it private. Any other suggestions?
I'm not quite sure what you mean sorry, Crocheting Around New Zealand, the tent is fully enclosed with a door that leads to the awning, so it's a private sleeping space on the side of the awning. You can see all the features in our other video here - th-cam.com/video/qZLpsigh0fM/w-d-xo.html.

what product is compatible to add as an awning extension to protect the front entrance if you didn't want to attach it to the 270 awning?
There are no additional accessories specifically for the front of this shelter, Chloe. The Tagalong tent is in it's own right an accessory for the Foxwing Awning. It can be set up freestanding but it doesn't perform overly well like this. ~ Ben
Is there a comparison video between this and the RV5 Tagalong?
There isn't sorry, Karen... well not yet anyway. We have some Tagalong Tent videos on our to do list, problem is that it's a long list. We'll try and get to it sooner than later. ~ Ben
Can you connect the rv5 plus to the foxwing awning seeing as the 2.5 has been discontinued
@Brendon Craig, we've had mixed feedback from Oztent on this, but it seems as though you can but you'll need to pick up the RV Awning Connector in the RV-5 size.

Is there a more compact ridge pole for this?
I'm not sure what you mean by a compact ridge pole sorry, Karen. That being said, this tent is no longer available, so you would need to customise something if the included pole isn't working. ~ Ben
Hi, will this work with the Darche eclipse 270?
It won't Jamie, you'd have to come up with some sort of custom adapter to make this happen. ~ Ben
Can I attach my RV3 to the 270/180 foxwing awning?
@Kiar Muri you can only attach an RV3 to either the front or middle panel of a 180 Foxwing awning, and no issues connection to the 270.
You'll need an RV Awning Connector, and the tent will just end abit short of the full edge length, and they are narrower that the 2.5 Taglong tent/RV5.

does this work with the RX5 tent?
It will work with the RV5, but not the RX5 unfortunately, Jay Foo. The zippers run in different directions for these two tents making this Tagalong incompatible. ~ Ben
Is there a fly available for the tagalong tent ?
Not for the Foxwing Tagalong Tent, Allan. The regular RV Tagalong tents have a flysheet though. ~ Ben
