Had 6th row seats for this. TH-cam Theater has the best sound of any theater in L.A. Opeth were sublime as always and Mikael is a pretty funny insult comic!
@ Interesting! I saw Dethklok and Babymetal there last year and don’t remember the sound being really good or really bad. But Opeth just killed it. Mikael and Fred’s guitars sounded loud and clear. I’m just surprised that they’re not at the Forum level at this point.
@@fabiangonzalez3365 I've seen them 16 times... But there's many new Opeth fans who haven't seen them and they also want to hear the classics.. I was sad they didn't do Black Rose Immortal but it was an amazing show in Brooklyn, NY
@@MarkGonz123 This was my first time seeing them with the new drummer and they were on fire. I'm also bummed about Black Rose Immortal. We didn't get that 25th Anniversary tour in the US. I'd also like to see them play a song off Orchid one day. I still had a great time and will continue to see them because their shows are always great.

Why the same songs for like 20 years and a couple newer ones with such a great catalog to work with?
I know right? This was my 10th time seeing them and the only new songs on the set for me were from the new album.
They got to get bored with play the same five songs and just two new songs every time they tour every 5 years.@@fabiangonzalez3365
