Wouldn't patchwork engine be good into this deck since your not playing fiendsmith

I'm personally not a fan of the patchwork engine and it also isn't really needed for this build

In the first combo, what's the point of ending on mirrorsword? No hate just curious, wouldn't be better to use the mirror as material, leaving the diabellze and then sending either statue or fiendsmith?

Easy answer for you man, I don't play fiendsmith, and statue is a side option, ending on swordknight also enables you to use its effect in draw phase to summon berfomet setting up better guardian chimera plays (if you have the option of course) it also enables follow up for your turn whilst putting another body on board
