I've always heard these referred to as "Y-link" steering setups. Highly recommend getting "the cure" bushing, and installing at the drag-link intersection point to keep the tie rod from rotating.

What is the clearance between the tie rod and diff cover on a Dana 30? I would like to run this on my 98 XJ and my only concern is clearing an aftermarket diff cover at full lock.
Nope, still has a dead spot. Maybe because the tie rod end going from the drag link into my tie rod blew out in 6 months and about 600 miles of pavement driving. Had to outsource for better tie rod ends. Overall the kit is 95% better than the JCR version, but not satisfied

joe8388 failed in 6 months? Wow!
joe8388 did you have to use wheel spacers to clear the TRE? Also did you have any other adverse effect I.e. death wobble
What do you have for the WJ one ton stering?
