I really like Batwoman, Ruby was perfect for the role, although Javicia is also a great Batwoman. This series deserved many more seasons and also the story we saw in all the seasons was exciting and amazing ❤🦇
There definitely needed to be another season, but after that, I don't think it has enough left in it to go beyond anything more than 5 seasons. A 4th season would've continued Alice's journey into feeling able to become Beth again, while the relationship between Luke & Mary would see them resolve their feelings for each other, either to become a couple of stay friends. Luke was finally ready to be a hero at the end of season 3, so his Batwing career was also another storyline waiting to be explored, had the axe not fallen. Mary would also continue to deal with her guilt for having unintentionally killed a man, so it would have been interesting to see how that played out. Similarly, the same with Marquis, IF the Bat Team had cured, since it remained a little ambiguous if they managed to 'kill' Marquis's Joker. And that's before Ryan continued to get to know her biological mum & brother. How would Marquis have felt about his mother & sister/Batwoman's actions? I think a 5th season could've seen Kate return, possibly with or without Bruce, with some sort of storyline explaining why Bruce/Batman just upped & vanished. And Julia could've returned too (presumably Luke or Sophie informed her that Kate was alive). The only character I had a problem with is Sophie. Not because I disliked her, but because it felt like she was a spare part that the writers didn't quite know what to do with, after the first year. She was too big a part to let fizzle out quietly in the background, but not big enough to really sustain any constructive narrative threads of her own. The storyline with her sister ended up being a bit of a damp squib, while the plotline about her religious zealot, homophobic mother rejecting her daughter for being gay, never actually went anywhere. Other than a throw away line from her sister about how she believed their mother would eventually "come around". In both cases, Sophie is angry or hurt for an episode, then it just seems to all be forgotten about. Her sister nearly died & her religious zealot, homophobic mother rejected her for being gay! And it's hardly mentioned! That never sat well with me, because it didn't feel believable.
I honestly like her more in these crossovers then in her own show.

I liked ruby as Kate, she played the character well enough, the show was bad but to be honest she made it bearable
