You need to learn how to "toe and heal" sometimes called rev matching in the USA. It will smooth out your down changes, saving your gearbox and clutch.
The tow down the straights is quite a power boost. There is also a Super engine class that come zooming through towards the end, they do have more power!

How do u have that extra oomph on the straights? Aren't they all same spec engines?
