Gorgeous blue and silver shades,Ms Tracey 😍❤️.Love how they look after pouring 😍💜,they resemble the galaxy to me,some enlightenment.Pretty star shape of the bowl ,Ms Tracey 💜💜😍
This Bowl is so beautiful, Ms Tracey, I love the color combinations used here They looks amazing, love the glittery stones too😍😍👌💜.And love its perfect star shape😍😍😍
I made my own large leveling table, and it is heated too. I took two 24-inch square ceramic tiles and sandwiched an adjustable temp heating mat between them with a layer of insulation on bottom tile. Then I attached 5 leveling feet and voila. I love it, and it works great.
Oh wow. That’s the nicest resin bowl I’ve seen yet! Gorgeous. Lucky niece. She’d have to love it. Glad to see you used that silver. I’ve just got some & didn’t know how it’d behave. I probably would have started with waaaay too much powder. Thanks Tracey
Hi there, here is a tip that works well for me. When you drape your piece over a bowl - or any other thing you decide to use - use masking tape, the stuff you use for cleaning your molds, and form your folds. The tape will not leave a residue, and it comes off very easily. It gives you better control and you don’t need to fiddle with anything. Another bonus is that you can easily move your bowl away from your work area. Just a suggestion.
Oh my goodness I'm suddenly thinking how pretty this would be in colors like sea stars! There's one called a multicolored pisaster, and a picture of one that's orange in the middle and ombre out to purple tips.
Re: levelling tables - I bought a 36 x36 inch tempered glass office chair mat, bought good quality levelling feet from Amazon, attached them with E300 glue, and it is the best decision I’ve made for creating any size resin projects - worth a thought….I also bought the glass from amazon
I may end up doing that too good idea on the glass part, I’d never have thought of that. I was thinking to get a piece cut then how do I make the edges safe…… yours sounds perfect
This looks fantastic - wow, those patterns just came out so beautifully. It looks so eye catching as a bowl. I tried to join the premiere but my internet has been having a wobbly for over a week and it just said 'nah' at the time of your premiere. I'm just glad it's working now so I could watch. Very inspiring!
Took me a while together brave and do it. Turns out it’s actually quite easy. Key is keep checking it to catch it just at the right time to do the shaping
I love bowls your's is beautiful. one thing you can do is use two molding bowls if you want symmetrical form. Put it over one bowl and use second bowl to shale and hold.
Wow thats awesome well done, sorry i missed the premiere ,erm i was actually appearing in one on a magnet fishing channel at the same time as yours so i was over there
Love the colours the bowl came out so pretty. My bobbin lace tutor usec to day it isn't hand made unless there is a mistake in the item . So if the bowl isn't symmetrical it doesn't, atter
Great job sweetie I'm sure she loved it as it's absolutely beautiful just wanted to give a few tips that could help in the future, when using the crushed glass always either put down a clear coat or mix with clear resin before putting into the mold to protect your mold and help keep the glass uniform. Also if you get pieces of glass outside of your line you can clean it up with a piece of tape oh and I love that floating silver I have 2 different ones but if you have a small deepish mold try pouring it 3/4 with clear then add the silver to fill it up and let it cure and check out what it does its insanely gorgeous it blew my mind how cool and simple it was! Much love ❤❤❤❤
Absolutely darlin I teach art so I always try to give helpful advice when I see someone having issues or complications but you are doing fantastic work keep it coming!
I enjoyed this video. I’ve not used my new leveling table yet, but i would think you could just lay a larger platform on top of your smaller leveling table to accommodate a larger project. A piece of plywood or countertop- just make sure it’s flat. Put some thin rubber feet or a rubber “jar opener” grip underneath if it wants to slide.
May I suggest taking that heat gun and prop it on your table, point it at your mixing bowl and mix. That's why it has the feet on it. It will make the resin much more vicious (fluid) and the bubbles will rise much easier and you'll also get much better color shift affects.
No if I’d wanted more viscous I’d have used regular resin not the fast cure. I wanted it viscous, and there were no bubbles. If you use a heat gin too much on 2 hour cure resin it will f,ash cure . There were no bubbles in the finished piece
You can do it! I kept putting it off, was nervous about it but - actually it was easy. Just have fun with the colours. the only but that really needs attention is catching that window of time when it's just the right level of bendiness
That's BEAUTIFUL! Do you happen to have the link for the rose gold crushed glass? I didn't see it in your link tree, and have been looking for that exact color. TIA! Happy Creating!!!
I find the Apex range easy to work with and reliable, and I have no allergic reaction to it. The One Coat is the only 2 hour demould Epoxy that I know of. Above all, I like their business model and customer support. I only use Apex nowadays

Hello Tracey 👋 😊

Yes as a temporary measure I'll do that. great and simple solution :)

Thanks so much 😊 And thanks for joining us in live chat
Very pretty hard to believe it is your first!
It is! I had been putting it off because I thought it would be difficult, and it really turned out to be simple fun 😄
Gorgeous!
Thank you! 😊 I was pleased for my first attempt :)
Amazing 🤩
Thanks 🤗
That bowl came out absolutely amazing and I hope my first one comes out nice. I got a rather large mold as well and was worried about the outcome .
I have no idea where Igot it from, sorry, I've had it a couple of years. but try Just4YouOnlineUK.com with my link - I think they do something similar
Could you use the painter's tape to hold the bottles in place?
the bottles stayed in place anyway but I do use painters tape in the next bowl making video - works a rteat :)
How is Apex compared to other epoxy’s?
I find the Apex range easy to work with and reliable, and I have no allergic reaction to it. The One Coat is the only 2 hour demould Epoxy that I know of. Above all, I like their business model and customer support. I only use Apex nowadays
Hi
*waves*
How is it to work with Apex Resin?
Per my other reply - it's great resin, I only use Apex nowadays
