I love this foundation, but I have combo skin. I find I get the best application result by buffing it in with a foundation kabuki brush and finish it by pressing it into the skin with a beauty blender.
Teacher M I did almost the same thing with this Foundation. Except...Backwards. I did the beauty blender, then buffed mine with a dense foundation brush. I’ve only been able use it twice since purchase. So still working on it. I will try your way next and see how it goes. Right now..the only upside for me about this makeup is the color range. It was really a great match for me

I'm sorry to hear about your babysitter passing that's So scary. I also know what you mean by letting your loved ones know you love them.
I lost my brother a year ago in September and the day before he passed he gave me & my son a ride home from our mom's and when he went to leave I always tell him I love him so the next day his wife calls me from the hospital saying they was trying to revive him, then when I got there they said he had passed away. Broke my heart I mean I was devastated.
So to this day I know he left knowing that I loved him. Our last words was I love you.
I always let my family and friends know I love them when we say our goodbyes for the day or whatever because you truly don't know when God's going to call you home.
I will be saying a prayer for you, your family and hers. God bless you xoxo

I know that anxiety u feel when someone doesn't respond and u have that worry in your heart and stomach. I'm sorry for all the loss youve experienced this year. On the bright side youve gained another beautiful baby This year. And well, doesn't get much better than that.

I'm nearly 50 w a dryer skin type. I use a moisturizing primer and the Real Techniques sponge and I love this foundation. Didn't take much effort at all to blend in. Worked out great for me.
Which primer did you use? We've got the same skin type, do you use a finishing spray? Once I found the right spray it really helped but it does fade so maybe .. .
@@AnnieBoBannie421 Hi!! I like the Hard Candy coconut water primer. I like that gel formula. I also like the MUR hyaluronic setting spray. That seems to plump the face back up if things get to dry.
I came so close to getting the Hard candy primer so I'll def get it, a lot of foundations start out looking nice and dewy and a few hrs later its a dry cakey (esp under eyes) into lines that I didn't even see yet mess! I tried the catrice dewy spray and it's fantastic but it's a sm. bottle I'm going to get what you suggested- hopefully it'll work for me- I swear, I could use pure Crisco for primer and I'd still look like a mummy 2 hrs later, thank you so much, it's nice to have real life recommendations from someone witnsimilar skin and age ❤❤❤
i've been trying to decide if i want to try this or not. money is really tight and i have a lot of pigment issues on my face so i need high coverage. i am 49 and now have drier skin. i also wear a primer. thanks for your input.

I'm always surprised that no one ever talks about the Milani Make It Dewy Setting Spray -- it is FANTASTIC!
Great price for a decent sized bottle, and it keeps my (almost) 48 year old face, AND my Mom's 75 year old face, looking Dewy and Amazing until the very moment we take it off!!
It has a scent - I'm normally skin and nose allergy sensitive to smells - however this does not bother either one!
Honestly it smells so nice that I have people constantly asking what perfume/body spray I'm wearing!
I've heard people talk about the Make it Last Milani spray... But, sadly, no one ever talks about the Make It Dewy Milani spray... Honestly -- I like it BETTER than the Catrice (although I do like the Catrice).
It goes on sale often, especially at Walgreens -- and there is a "Buy $15 worth of Milani products - get $5 Off" coupon that is good through the end of December! Ask at the Walgreens cosmetics counter -- the seem to have them stashed back there for some reason now.

My daughter came home for fall break and totally surprised me yesterday!! I have her for the weekend. Our son didn't come home tho. They go to the same university but he has too much going on. Lots of family get togethers.
My TH-camrs I follow don't know this about me but I cervical cancer at 35 1/2 and ended up w a bowel obstruction. My kids were like 6 and 8ish. I nearly died from the complication. Yes, life is way too short. I'm 50 in Dec and I get to see them both in college and doing great!! XOXO!!

@@Zabrena Want to hear something even better? Rachel and I were getting ready to go and do some shopping and Aaron came walking in the door!! He came home too!! He had to come home the next day because of meetings and such. So I have both my kids for the weekend! It's wonderful.
It's amazing how tough women are. We are fearless. I never thought something horrible would happen to me until I was finally going home and my doctor says to me Amy, you gave me quite a scare. That's crazy.

Zabrena, I'm very sorry to hear of your many recent losses. I lost my mom in 2002 and at times it is as sad for me as it was the night she died. But I believe she is in a much better place and in this place the pain of her illness has been taken away and her tears have been wiped away forever. I felt her spirit with me when I was fighting cancer last year and when I thought my strength was gone and I couldn't take another surgery or second in an MRI machine, that's when I felt her spirit inside strengthening mine. Love never dies.

I just bought this foundation 2 days ago. I have used it twice and it's working rather well for me. Now I have normal skin with slight t zone oils. I'm a mature woman of 64...and I just made sure to moisturize well before application and it blended out flawlessly. It's lasting well too. 12 or more hours. It's not my holy grail...but it's fine for everyday.

Yes Zabrena, I soooo appreciate you testing foundations without primer - I don’t use primers and am constantly looking for foundation that will work without them. I do my skincare and my SPF as a last step before foundation. I just have it my mind that I will dilute the SPF if I put a primer on top of it, but whether that’s true or not, it’s also just another step I’m trying to avoid. Thank you for your great work and talent, and for your beauty inside and out! You have tons of charisma! You’re one of my favs ❤️

Same issue -- it's so frustrating! Can only do ONE thing in a day: Shower, Hair, or Makeup. If I'm even going to attempt to look nice, it's: shower the night before, makeup that day, and hope I can sprucey up 3rd-Day (or even 4th) hair!
CRPS/RSD + Trying to look nice = Complete Exhaustion!!

I also had a realization that I need to live everyday like it might be my last. I know it seems morbid, but it just makes me think differently about things. Hugs to you and yours.
This foundation is best with a brush! I had the same problem with a sponge.

And you’re so rt we’re not promised tomorrow. I live 12 hours from my parents and it’s beyond hard. But sometimes we have to go where the work is in order to provide for our family. BUT I must have missed the video about your dad. I had NO clue. But I hope somehow you’re regaining your strength my your daddy’s arms comforting you from above ❤️
Zabrena, what you said at the end is so very true. I have a 10 year old daughter and I tell her all the time how important it is for the people she loves to know how she feels and vice versa. There was actually a morning a few weeks ago where my husband took her to school and they both forgot to tell me goodbye and it literally panicked me. I had to call them just to make sure that we got to say I love you and to have a good day. I've lost someone where I didn't get that opportunity and it does traumatize you it stays with you. It's so very important for the people in your life to know how important they are to you so that we all have closure when the time comes. Much love to you.
Great review and useful information. So sorry about the recent losses and one on top of another. It’s like people with concussion. If they get hit again too soon the original damage is worse on top of the second hit. Praying for a better year next year. I’m 62 & some years are just like a series of storms one after another. They pass but for a while you almost go round waiting for the next shoe to drop. It does get better and I’ve learnt to relax again but it takes some time after one of those kind of years puts you through the wringer. Hugs!!!!

It’s so strange, all my favorite youtubers did not like the foundation but I recently tried it and it looked beautiful on my skin. I did use a smoothing and illuminating primer underneath and urban decay setting spray on top so idk if that helped. Much love stay positive ❤️
I think thicker foundations like this are best applied with a brush. Blends so much better in less time. Also you don't have to use as much of the foundation with a brush for good coverage. Milani has one similar to this one and I use a brush instead and it works well, I also had to really moisturize under the foundation well and that made a difference too.
Oh my goodness ...I so sorry for the he loose of your sitter ...I know that was shocking to you ...I been in medical field for 26 years now and I never get use to the loss of a patient and I lost my dad will be three years on the 15 the of this month..is so very hard for me ...God bless you and my prayers are with you and your family always...💜
I applied mine with a brush and I patted it in. It looked flawless! I had it on for a total of 12 hours and it still looked almost the same when I had applied it and that was even working a 10 hour shift (and sweating). It broke up just a little on my chin and upper lip. Usually I have problems with foundations breaking up on my nose. First foundation ever to still hold up on my nose! I have combo skin and dry skin during the colder months, so I didn't set it with powder. I didn't use a primer either. If you have dry skin, be sure to use a generous amount of heavy cream the night before. 👌👌
Holy cow! She flat lined! Oh my goodness! So sad! Sorry for your loss! I feel like dealt comes in waves! 2 years ago I lost 7 people who I loved throughout the year, and this year I have only lost one. Still heart breaking! But I totally agree! Make sure people know you love them!

I am so sorry for the loss of your sitter.♥️ I also lost my dad this past May (he had Alzheimer's) and his sister (from dementia) a few months before him. I was blessed to care for my father for 9 years but I still think of the "what ifs." With that being said, I am a Christian, and I know that I honored God and my father. Oh Zabrena that sounds so crazy! Something you just wouldn't expect. With regards to the foundation, I have heard mixed reviews. I have oily combo skin so I don't think I'll try this. I only use high end foundations because drugstore foundations just don't work with my skin.
