1:02 Love that Clough and Taylor's arms swung in sync with each other as they walked in that particular clip. If that isn't a metaphor for how well the two worked together, I don't know what is
Cloughie was an alchemist who turned base metal into gold twice, at Derby and Forest. His achievements with them cannot be overstated. OK, he had an ego the size of a planet, but he delivered great success to two clubs who were in the doldrums. Mishandled things at Leeds, true, and didn't pull up any trees at Brighton, but overall he was a wonderful manager, and his teams played good football.
@hearns00001 If someone did that now they'd be hailed as the greatest manager of all time. Clough not only did that at Forest but turned Derby from a mid-table division 2 side into a Premier League winning team. Ferguson is the only manager these days who comes close but look at how he bought his way to the top
I didn't realise he won the league a season after getting forest promoted, guess with the way things are in football now that couldn't happen again, but its still a trememdous achievement.
Apart from several trophies, a Cup final, and being cheated out of the UEFA Cup after Taylor left. Peter Taylor deserves great credit but to say that Clough couldn’t cope without him is incorrect.
I don't know all the songs included but here are the ones I recognize:- "Who are you?" - The Who "Superstition" - Stevie Wonder "Killing Moon" - Echo & The Bunnymen
what coughie achieved at forest and derby is just IMPOSSIBLE u really think guys like Mourinho and AVB would ever have the courage to manage a club that will pay them pratically nothing and a transfer budget that is laughable at this day and age ?
@Aurelio226 - not bad. up late again sorting and the pc. I noticed it says Yemen in your profile as to your country. But you seem quite English in your tastes. I first noticed the carpet in the hallway of the hotel from the film The Shining as the background to your YT page. Then i read your profile and saw that you mentioned that. I only mention all this because i just posted a link to my friend's fb page of the scene where the little boy is riding along the hallways on his bike.
Did you see that look clough gave him when he said we have been spoilt by don revie , I’ll show you lad..I always wonder if Leeds would have kept him where we would be now..
@akava77 In the 1974 World Cup Final Johan Cruyff had an exclusive deal with Puma, who supplied him with their Puma King boots, so he was unwilling to sport the three trademark stripes of Adidas which Holland wore. He took 1 stripe off his top..
The myth of John Robertson is that he was fat and slow but in all the clips I've seen he looks fit and keeps skinning full backs..He's hardly Jan Molby!
Brian Clough, Bobby Robson and Shankley..we will never see their like again, true greats..from a Hull City fan.
Why you telling people you support Hull?

People seem to forget Brian's record as a player. 279 odd goals in 230 odd games for middlesbourgh and sunderland.
Which people

Well he only had 44 days at Leeds to be fair. Even a manager nowadays would find 44 days harsh.
Pure Legend!
Great compilation and an even better soundtrack!
Brian Clough was definitely in the top one
Brilliantly funny man. But when it come to football he knew what was needed.
Thanks !! Thats what i was searching !
I'm fan of Chelsea but respect for Brian Clough the best manager ever !!!

I big up the one & only Brian Clough!! ....a history lesson about the the man & the club i follow.
Interesting interview with Brian
Genius. The football Forest played back then is better than the football played now.
who would dislike this?
Notice how the commentator keeps saying Clough and TAYLOR, he was nothing without Taylor
Apart from several trophies, a Cup final, and being cheated out of the UEFA Cup after Taylor left.
Peter Taylor deserves great credit but to say that Clough couldn’t cope without him is incorrect.
I don't know all the songs included but here are the ones I recognize:-

"Killing Moon" - Echo & The Bunnymen

Was this a BBC program? Or was it created by a TH-camr? Brilliant!
@Aurelio226 - not bad. up late again sorting and the pc.

i wish Cloughie would be reincarnated and come back and take over Liverpool, we need someone like him, the legend
Instead we got Klopp 😁🔴
was at forest 2 And half seasons before promotion
@stevielamb - thanx.
BIG ONES REALLY.
@Aurelio226 - now i can see what that says. i don't subscribe to it, so i never knew what it was.
@akava77 In the 1974 World Cup Final Johan Cruyff had an exclusive deal with Puma, who supplied him with their Puma King boots, so he was unwilling to sport the three trademark stripes of Adidas which Holland wore. He took 1 stripe off his top..
clough and taylor lol. beat anyone

*Forest!
One off
The myth of John Robertson is that he was fat and slow but in all the clips I've seen he looks fit and keeps skinning full backs..He's hardly Jan Molby!
1:48 I like Clough but this always make me cringe. He's clearly performing for the cameras.
And part 2?
Unfortunately, TH-cam took it down a while back.
@@stevielamb FFS.
Why was that?
Why take down part 2 and keep part 1?
Where’s part 2 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Taken down by the TH-cam police
That's a shame, do you know how I could somehow see all of the programme.
@Johnoppo Sunderland supporter actually, FTM
Dreadful accompaniment ruins video almost impossible to hear conversations with stupid music get rid please.
