For me, this Pope was more than just a figurehead in Rome. He was my grandfather's uncle, a wonderful Pope and a Saint.

Many spoke bad about Pius but again no one had the true story.
I was born under his elevation and have served John XXIII, Paul VI, John Paul 1, John Paul II, Benedict xvi, Frankie.
All unique some good some very bad men (John Paul II, Frankie).
I would have loved to see John Paul 1st live for 10 yrs and see how he would have cleaned the church

That Mass is not lost, sir. We attend a traditional Latin Mass church. It is awesome.
Yarros Von Yasenets it's coming back. SSPX, FSSP, Institute of Christ the King. These institutions are all the Traditional Latin Mass and their vocations are booming. SSPX built a seminary in Va. St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary, finished in 2016, built for 100 men. No diocese in the country has built a seminary in over 50 yrs. Renovated standing seminaries yes, not built any new one.

Es cierto que el papa guardó silencio porque sabía que sí condenaba abiertamente el nefasto régimen nazi provocaría una masacre en masa de católicos en los países dominados por el nazismo. Infórmate el secretamente dio asilo a miles y miles de judíos en el Vaticano. Está el hecho histórico de los judíos agradeciendo a Pío 12. Otro detalle en los lugares donde daba asilo a los judíos, ordenaba retirar los crucifijos para no herir la sensibilidad religiosa de sus asilados.

Their are faithful orders popping up here and there, Carmelite's of The Immaculate Heart of Mary,Cody Wyoming, SSPX, FSSP, Institute of Christ the King. SSPX built a huge seminary, St. Thomas Aquinas in Dillwyn, Va. Only new seminary in the USA in 50 yrs. These are all Traditional Latin Mass and their vocations are booming. There are crusades of prayer check out HolyLove.org. God takes care of His people.
Let us pray for God’s divine intevention. Let us pray the Holy Rosary everyday.

Well of course it's a real Mass. What was it going to be? An unreal Mass. I was referring to Pius XII's practise of eschewing the complicated ritual of the Papal Mass by celebrating a Low Mass even on occasions of great solemnity or importance. I may be wrong, but I think I remember that he celebrated a Low Mass even on the occasion of the declaration of the Assumption as De Fide. John XXIII, on the other hand, was a great pontificator and celebrated a Papal Mass at the drop of a camauro.
Was the declaration of the Assumption necessary?
Sounds like a strange and unnecessary dogma.
But of course it further promoted the cult of Marianism alongside Christianity.
John XXIII was a freemason modernist who kickstarted the V2 revolution.

I think it is technically the blessing given by any bishop in general. And the Pope being the bishop of Rome, he is also a bishop.

Às missas no Vaticano eram celebradas em "versus populum"? Pelo vídeo parece que o Papa está voltado para a parte maior da basílica com os fiéis. Era assim mesmo?
Não, as missa eram feitas versun Deo, se você quiser comparar, olhe a imagem que se encontra do lado esquerdo de Pio e a que se encontra no lado esquerdo de Bento(procure um vídeo e compare), verá que são diferentes. Logo pio celebrava "de costas" para o povo!
Creio que apenas a disposição dos assentos era em torno do altar. Mas a Missa era versus Deo.

Oui vous avez raison car Vatican II ( 1962-1965) a été ouvert le 11.10.1962 , sous Jean XXIII , l église conciliaire s est adaptée au monde moderne et a inversé toute les structures internent de l église catholique où il fallait faire des réformes conciliaires notamment la réforme du prêtre face à l autel qui va être face aux fidèles, les langues vernaculaires vont remplacer le latin avec aussi les dialogues interreligieux , les réformes canoniques et autres .
Il est judicieux de faire le parallèle avec le pontificat de pie XII 1939-1958 ayant été aussi à l origine de ce concile car il était déjà en cours sous ce pontificat.
Il est vrai qu aujourd'hui si nous regardons la messe de Noël, nous avons l impression d une messe " païenne" et non plus une messe d autrefois.
Je dirais que l église catholique romaine et apostolique s adapte au monde politique et religieux qui l entoure .

es una misa rezada, no es una pontifical, por lo tanto no se requiere diacono ni subdiacono.
Disculpen mi ignorancia, cual es la diferencia entre misa rezada y pontifical.
@@chavapinones7011 Misa cantada(pontifical) es con ceremoniero e incienso , Coro con órgano se celebra así en Domingos , y Misa rezada sin estos.. es a capela , si buscas el calendario tradicional te marca las clases de Misa que hay .

The image was the Black Madonna, it makes no sense for the earthly head of the church to hate someone based on their race when we have had many Saints of different races and he venerated an icon of a dark-skinned Madonna and Child.

Si, a muchos les gusta esta misa porque como no entienden nada, no se comprometen a nada. No así cuando se oye la Palabra de Dios en tu idioma y te tienes que comprometer con el evangelio. Es simplemente un show barroco.
¿Por qué dices que "no entienden nada" quienes acuden a las misas misas Vetus Ordo? ¿Acaso ignoras que hay misales con traducción a la lengua vernácula para quienes los soliciten? Siempre fue así, por cierto.

@@santiagoblasgilabert2877 No seas mentiroso. Yo iba a misa cuando era chico y nadie entendía nada de lo que ahí sucedía. Por el contrario, los chicos hacíamos chistes de los ademanes y ceremonias que no entendíamos pero que nos parecían divertidas. La gente hacía toda clase de devociones: uno rezaba el rosario, otro leía un devocionario "Lavalle" y no había versiones en español. Solamente los misales Latino-Español lo tenían, pero estos estaban fuera del alcance de una persona común porque eran muy caros porque su presentación era de lujo. Para eso inventaron las campanillas, para que cuando sonaran la gente dejara de hacer otras devociones y pusiera atención a la "elevación". Si acaso comulgaban unas viejitas rezadoras y algunos niños. La comunión no era como ahora que hacen fila y la misa duraba no más de 30 minutos porque el celebrante murmuraba el ritual a toda prisa. Ahora la gente participa, canta, le responde al sacerdote, oye la explicación de las lecturas y aprende aunque sea un poco. Pero en aquella época salía uno como entraba, sin sentir ninguna experiencia espiritual sino solo con la satisfacción de haber cumplido con un deber, pero eso era todo. La lectura de la Biblia era casi prohibida y las pocas ediciones de ésta eran carísimas y llenas de notas y aún así los sacerdotes nos decían que corríamos el peligro. Yo de hacernos protestantes si la leíamos. Yo tengo 80 años así que ME CONSTA todo lo que he dicho. Y no soy "protestante" si me haces el favor.

Las misas de ahora carecen de misterio, son mundanas y a ellas acude poquísima gente, la mayoría personas calvas o con canas. No creo que Juan XXIII se refiriera a eso cuando hablaba de "una nueva primavera de la Iglesia".
Y en cuanto a que hoy comulga mucha gente en comparación con la de antes, la pregunta es: ¿toda esta gente se ha confesado previamente y está libre de pecado? La respuesta es no. Y la respuesta es no porque ni hay confesionarios, ni saben ya que hay que confesarse primero.
Por cierto, no vaya con cuentos de que la Iglesia Católica tenía prohibido leer la Biblia. Eso es falso. Leyenda negra de la peor especie. La Iglesia Católica jamás prohibió la Biblia (que ella misma compiló). Otra cosa es que se reservara su interpretación. Y es lógico: la Iglesia es Maestra.
Reconózcanlo: a partir del cambio en la liturgia ha venido toda esta confusión y esta apostasía general, que cada día crecen. Y usted, por su edad, debería estar más informado que nadie pues ha podido ser testigo de primera mano.

Even Pope Paul VI was in favor of this: people where coming tausend of miles once in their life to see the pope (to stay a moment in the shadow of Peter) and this was the only way to be visible back then.
beniamino sani Actually, Pope John Paul I was the last Pope to use it when he was told that people could not see him when he entered the audience hall or the Basilica. When John Paul II got older and couldn't walk any more , they devised some sort of cart on wheels that they pushed him on during processions. Benedict the 16th, use the same contraption. It looked absolutely foolish and ridiculous. But this is what happens, when you get rid of a tradition in favor of worldly opinion! The portable throne was practical, papal and traditional. If the modernist and loony liberals didn't like it, too bad about them. Let them become protestants!!
