The suffering people of Los Angeles have helped one another just as the suffering people in North Carolina have.
Los Angeles isn't just a city but is made up of many smaller communities inhabited with people who love, live, grow, and build together. They help those within their own communities as well as those around the world who also need assistance. The Pacific Palisades was founded in 1921; settled and designed by Christians (specifically Methodists). Their "alphabet streets" were named after Methodist bishops. The neighborhood of Altadena is home to many generations of Black Americans who escaped the evils of slavery, sundown towns, Jim Crow Laws, redlining, hatred, racism, prejudice, and injustice. 🕊️🌎💚
Sadly, there are those who lie; kill, steal, and destroy in every community. 😔

It is disheartening when you think you lost everything, and someone swoops in to steal the crumbs! But then come strangers who give you a hot meal, a way to get warm, a place to rest, and encouragement to start over. Amen!

Not a single FEMA trailer has made its way to them... it would take ONE phone call! Trailers sit empty nearby while people sleep on the GROUND.
We send these amazing mobile power plants to Ukraine and Mexico, whoever needs them... NOTHING for the people FREEZING in the mountains of WNC.

@ Yeah who cares about them... Trump's moving MOUNTAINS to get creepy Larry Ellison's data-collection (OUR DATA) centers built. Executive orders! Slashing regulations! But not for the people of WNC.
It's MADDENING.
I think the worst part might be how Trump fans are able to ignore it and think he cares about the country.
