I’ve been a Cowboys fan my entire life and have endured repeated disappointments over the past 28 years, but I think it finally registered for me with this game. This organization is not serious about winning. The Joneses have ruined what was once a proud and legendary franchise. It’s now a sad, sad shell of its former self. A marketing ploy to keep Jerry rich. We are literally watching this team become the Raiders in real time. Fans don’t deserve this. Watching Jimmy Johnson yell hellfire at halftime was even worse considering how poorly this organization has treated him despite his immense contributions. We don’t deserve him either. Bail and don’t feel guilty. You didn’t leave the Cowboys, the Cowboys left you.

You shouldn’t have had faith in this years team anyway… The issue is that too many fans get moved by wins… This team was suspect against good run schemes, this team played soft coverages, man and zone is usually played in off coverage, we didn’t call enough blitzes… Offense was bad running the ball against most teams, and we don’t run the screen game or jet sweep game well. There’s even more…

@@GodsServant543dallas has had problems running the ball all year, and previous years especially in postseason. 1 dimensional offense will struggle in postseason. Dallas has great olinemen yet cant run the ball. In 90s dallas had nate,tuinea, e williams,gogan and step and ran the hell out of the ball. None of those linemen was as talented as tyron, zach or probably tyler. Difference, outside of emmitt naturally. Which is a huge difference, never will we see another emmitt. In the 90s those guys beat the crap out of the defense. I watched those ol guys make defenses quit, including reggie. Go back to 2020 when old bengals qb replaced dak. He got hit after play, and oline did nothing. I think it was skins, player is on 9ers now. If that happens in 90s regardless of it was troy or a backup. That oline would've took him out, went after every player on the team, then went after there families. They beat defenses into submission.
This loss hurts and being a cowboys fan for 48 years hurts even more .We need a change ASAP ,we came out that locker room with low energy and no fight . Dann Quinn and Mac need to go . They can take about 8 to 10 players with them .

Williams is an defensive lineman NOT a special teamer but since Quinn wants to play games with undersized Parsons playing edge, our second round Sam Williams is stuck playing bs roles instead of developing at the edge where he has the weight and power to stop the run as well as the ability to get sacks
I think you're right about Quinn getting cute with players. I think Micah is an edge. I like these players I do but Bell, Kearse are not built like linebackers. When Green Bay lineman got up to the second level it was over. Irs not Bell or Kearse fault. They are safeties not linebackers.
@@nathanmyers227 Micah can’t set the edge against the run, he’s only good to rush the passer on third down from the edge, on 1st and 2nd down he needs to be behind the line shooting the gaps trying to stop the rbs and TEs from there. Dlaw was drafted as a linebacker but proved that he can stop the run, parsons has done nothing to say that he’s able to do so.
Finally someone else says this. I've been so pissed we're not using Sam Williams at egde WAY more he could actually be our best pass rusher
@ghanjahman very true about Micah. I guess he would be better at linebacker 1st and 2nd down and pass rush on 3rd down passing situations

I wish ALL the Cowboy players would understand how much of their fans work towards just having rent, bills and food daily for themselves and family. I call out those players who have been blessed to play a game, and if you know what that STAR means to negotiate fairly and bring us fans a well deserved title. I personally have been a Cowboys fan for over 47 years, this last loss not only hurts, but the lack of passion shown during post game interviews was disappointing. Jerry Jones, I appreciated your comments to us, the fan, I just hope your players realize, from my perspective, how lucky they are to have the facilities, guidenss and such devoted fans. I would love to see most of our free agents back, Dak, HOW BAD DO YOU WANT TO WIN?!
Either a player goes for the highest paycheck OR they go for Championships. You can't have BOTH. We can't pay Dak $60 million and CD $30 million and expect to sign good players around them. Then we still have to pay Michah in a couple of years. Speaking of Michah, he needs to grow up. He's too worried about "STATS".
can we just admit that Dak cant handle the pressure in the playoffs? he had his signature wide eyed blank stare, which he does right before hes about to implode, in the FIRST QUARTER! i was texting people telling them wthe blowout was on after i saw that all too familiar look. again, in the FIRST quarter.
As far as Dan Quinn, get him a 1 way ticket to Seattle tonight. that scheme and performance reeked of trying to get a head start on filling his coaching staff.

This game wasn’t on the players… It was on the coaches and GM group, mostly Dan Quinn. Then McCarthy.
Look at what we knew, the running game would struggle, and we had no reason to expect pollard would carry the load, once we saw 5-6 games, we knew the run scheme, jet sweep, and screen game would help facilitate the offense. Once we lost Diggs, Dan Quinn needed to go to a heavy blitz scheme, (especially against better teams) and a physical zone match defense. Mike McCarthy has been bad at calling enough motion, and draw plays out of shotgun. Long story short, you can’t expect players to out perform their coaches being outschemed in the playoffs. This is three years in a row of failed coaching being the primary issue, and failed GM work getting the right players.

But degree of difficulty is usually the difference in winning 90% of football games. The team that has the easier pathway to winning a particular set of downs has m a consistent basis almost always wins.
Green Bay had a dramatic scheme advantage against Dallas on both sides of the ball. We’ve seen it all year with Dan Quinn trying to be conservative against the run with smaller LB’s and safeties!!! We saw him yesterday playing two high when you were down 20🤣🤣🤣. You can only blame bell and Kearse so much for not being able to get offensive lineman blocks. Respectfully it’s basic logic, 3 of the last 4 playoff games we’ve been bullied AND out schemed. The only team that we beat was the team who didn’t win with scheme, the Bucs won with talent and Brady.
@@GodsServant543 a coach doesn't touch the field. The coaches aren't playing. They call the personnel, the guys they put in are expected to execute. DQ is definitely at fault for the zone but the penalties, the miscues, that's on the players. Let me give you an example. A teacher can teacher the class and prepare students for the test but ultimately the students have to apply what they're taught and study on their own to pass the test. If all the students rely solely on the teacher to pass the test and don't take it upon themselves to study and get better at whatever subject, the students will fail. As students they have to hold themselves accountable to make sure they understand exactly what they meed to do to pass. That same thing applies to coaches and players in ANY sport. The coach can teach you all day but if you as a player don't apply yourself, you're going to lose every time in every situation. The players were unprepared because they felt confident in beating the Packers, thinking the intangibles were unnecessary. That's on the guys that get on the field. Like we're talking about grown men that have been playing this sport all their lives. We're not talking about HS or collegiate level. These are supposed to be MEN, the best of the best, the 1%. The Packers players studied and did what they needed to do to prepare for the Cowboys, can't say the same for the Cowboys players. Just look at how many miscommunications happened during the game.

1. D Coordinator never put our best players on the field @the same time. #11 should have been 'disguised' WAAAAAAAY more @ LB, giving REAL DEs a chance to play. I "think" #11 could have affected both the run AND the pass(more) @LB

I’ve spent my last dollar on anything Dallas cowboys. It’s just entertainment going forward! My fantasy team is my favorite team from now on! I commend the players for achieving something that I never have or never will, but as a team/organization, I’m done!
I appreciate the honest conversation from everyone. You can sense the frustration. Truth is that you cannot allow the coaching staff to remain intact as is. Dak played terribly and admitting it is not enough. Hard decisions are up on McCarthy, Dak, and this staff.

Been a fan since the ice bowl in Green Bay, so I’ve seen a lot of DC football, this by far is the worst loss. I knew better than to trust this team, but I really thought, being at home, we’d be in this game. I considered not watching this game live, since this is the type of game DC pisses away, but I decided to be brave and watch it live…well, how did that turn out? I’ll always be a DC fan but I don’t know how much more of this bull crap I can take, this is such a major disappointment…real bull crap…

I don’t care what coach you bring in, Dak is just a level 1 QB. Look at Offense, defensive and who is a leader? It sure wasn’t Dak on offense and the defense was just JV football period.
@Mickey Dak held the ball and got sacked twice scrambling to the right outside of the pocket and the last two sacks came in the last 4 mins when the game was over and Dak was holding the ball searching for a redzone target. Dak is a deer in headlights

I knew 1st 2 plays the fix was in when I saw zone defense .
There's no excuse for playing dime all night, not moving Micah or giving him support when you realize they're running it at him, and being unable or unwilling to adjust. Offensively, the moment you watch your defense get dog-walked to the endzone on their opening series, you MUST match 7's until they feel the pressure to have to keep scoring, then go get 7 when they settle for 3. They looked tight walking out, and played like they were the young & inexperienced visiting team. Un-f*n-believable. That performance made no sense.
That big nickel defense has been the Cowboys base defense since DQ arrived. No LB depth and the interior has been exposed all season. In fact, the Cowboys have not been solid against the run since Wade Phillips.

No matter if it is deserved or not there needs to be a sacrificial lamb and the players need to see an example of accountability.
The players know what went t wrong, ask the hard question to then, & put the answer on a blank card , then take a look at there answer, & go from there with all your questions concerning the cowboys, make it a great day.
When they look at defensive players to bring in, draft or FA, the number one thing to evaluate is their ability to get off of blocks and then tackling ability. Forget measurables and stat numbers - look at ability. No push tacklers needed - only get wrap-up tacklers. That's why undrafted players are seeing the field more than draft picks. They might not have the numbers, but they have the ability and know-how to play the game. That outshines athleticism more times.
The curse wasn't Jimmy, it's the "America's Team" nickname! To much pressure that the players can't handle, and the flip side you'll always get the other teams best

Breaking it down can make it complicated but if you keep it simple the needle points to Dak. Dak cannot process reading defenses. Once the defense confuses him panic sets in then mistakes start to happen. On the defense side, u need to put some beef on the linebacker position. Still trying to understand why Quin went to a zone when they played man to man all season. I agree moving Parsons off the line and have him play linebacker and create blitzing plays for parsons 20 to 30 percent of the time.
When Jim Harbaugh, Bill Belichick, and Mike Vrabel are all possibly out there, the Cowboys should definitely move on from McCarthy, IMO. Not necessarily due to frustration with McCarthy, but because upgrades are available.
Why was the defense in zone all night when the defense played 80% man all year. I turned the game off 3rd quarter was VERY disappointing was sad to watch but hey am I shocked no not one bit the team looked looked how they looked playing the bills the cardinals no energy from the 1st quarter 🤦🏾♂️
They gave up 3 TDs playing man. This is a wrong talking point so many fans have picked up on.

The D was bad, but you can't blame all those points on them. Give half of the points we gave up to the offense, and especially Dak Prescott! The dude needs to go! I was saying to tell him to hit the road when he held out, and unfortunately I was right! I've tried to get behind Dak but I can't do it anymore. If Jerry gives him another contract. I'm done with the Cowboys, and I've been a die hard fan since 75'.

Before the season I predicted they would limp into the playoffs based on what I have seen in the past. I was wrong. But they still choked in the playoffs, as I also predicted. Sometimes it really sucks to be right.........
Everyone of these guys sat here all last week and said how easy this should be. Not only was this team out coached on both sides of the ball but they overlooked this packers team.Players looked like they didn’t even want to be there. F..king shame.

Other than the 38-6 playoff loss to Detroit, I’ve never seen a worse playoff loss than the loss to Green Bay at home. Very disappointing.
The Cowboys were unprepared in all three phrases , Offense , Defense & Special Teams ! Most of the time Packers receivers and running backs had open range ! Cowboy’s Coaching sucked & where were the adjustments ? Totally embarrassing & unacceptable !

IF I WAS GM FOR A WEEK. I WOULD GO FOR DEREK HENRY AND EZEKIEL ELLIOTT. POWER FOOTBALL. I WOULD DRAFT ANOTHER WIDE RECEIVER. OR BRING IN TY HILTON. I WOULD IMPROVE THE MIDDLE OF MY DEFENSE. YOU NEED SOME REAL MUSCLES IN THE MIDDLE. YOU NEED TO DRAFT OR TRADE FOR 2 LINEBACKERS AND 2 DEFENSIVE TACKLES.
These talking heads, act like they know better than everyone else. Dak has been here for 8 years. Jordan love just started this year. Dak, is a supposed to be the best quarterback, one of the most seasoned quarterbacks left in the NFC. And he got out played. These talking heads think, if he get paid 20 more million a year. Along with CD and Micah. And they are still going to have a better team than they have now. It’s not going to happen.
They lost because their star QB has a serious Stage fright issue- which I’m not sure can be coached out of.. I’ve been one of the biggest Dak supporters but, one thing that came from this game is a clear picture of what Dak is. Dak is full of fear in big moments.. that might be because he has no prior big stage before he was thrust into the position to take on a role of the biggest football organization ever. Probably too big of a stage for a Mississippi State player. Which sucks, because he has everything else you want in a franchise qb. But you can’t coach fear out of a player. Either you’re up to the task or you’re not. The players that are a difference in this league become BIGGER in big moments- not smaller. You should be GLOWING when the lights are on, not get dimmer. With respect to all for the panel, no one has mentioned the GM position and the lack of player personnel strategy the GM has shown during the season. Don't dance around Jerry Jones, GM. HC was called out. DC called out. But no GM being called out. My off season must have is replacing the GM. If GM fires McCarthy, Quinn then GM should himself accountable for the playoff failure and fire himself. No excuses. No apologizes.
