God I love F-Zero GX. I could never do something like this - my heart skipped a beat every time you would drift over the edge. Nintendo should’ve at least given us an HD Remaster with online capability - if only so the potential of online leaderboards and world records would bring the true killers out of the woodwork. Even so, I honestly believe that Nintendo hasn’t given us another F-Zero yet because they don’t believe they can top this masterpiece.
I know the SMTS is part of why the third lap is the fastest in most of these records, but it’s still so cool to see. When the record becomes real and the pressure to perform is at its peak, it feels like you tighten up even harder than you already were and play near perfect. So sick. Amazing run.

Agreed and it’s a no wonder they don’t wanna make another hard game like this, while personally I found x harder than gx but both are beyond insane

The switch's joycons could literally not handle F-Zero GX. You'd break them within a month.
Nintendo has said it themselves - they doubt they’ll ever deliver something that could improve on GX.
