I'm intrigued by the possibility of this being an April Fool's Day prank. Mr. Piskor's self-erasure over his public shaming maps onto the pattern of the Fool. We, the duped audience, are also made fools. His note is unusually written - but then again he was an artist. The date is numerically coded as well. 4/01 is 10-4 mirrored, 10-4 being code for "I understand/message received". His death is being treated by many already as a warning or parable of temptation and the online mob-mind (the Borg). We are "learning" from this. If we get more occult with it, it reminds me a bit of David Bowie's "staged" death at 69 - the flip, the crab, the CANCER, etc. ("R" and "L" exchange across languages so CANCER = CANCEL). Weird stuff...
its because his pathetic "BAD BOY" persona is single handedly destroyed by the journo who went to his parent house... that's what drove him over the edge, if you know from the people in " the upper echelon of COMIC COMUNTY" their impressions of him is that his a douche, a sub urban rich kid, a gangster wannabe, the girl, the victim, she didnt want him to go to jail, she have no case for that, its not the same as the john k situation, she just want people to know his a creep, that gallery deal cancelled on him is not her doing, its his doing, why do shit if you cant coup with it in the future? do you expect the victims of your shitty behavior should stay silent forever? nope!
@@angelmanfredy If they did the high school should be investigated. Also, if you know where Ed grew up the idea that he was a "surburban rich kid" is hilarious.
Ed was not a big name in the comic book industry. He was barely making a living. He didn’t work for any of the big companies and he was completely independent and was 41 and he should have not done anything with a 17-year-old. There were no charges press and I don’t think there was a crime committed or else it would’ve been in jail. The truth is we don’t know what happened. One canceled. Our show does not mean that you should kill yourself, however. I’m very disappointed.
So Marvel, Fantagraphics, and Abrams are not big companies. I see. I guess I have to admit that X-men is one of Marvel's more obscure properties. I mean most people only barely heard of Wolverine. If they want to be a bigger company in comics, they'll have to somehow be one of two companies to dominate the industry for 60 years and make like 20+ movies about their characters. Maybe someday. I wish I was barely making a living enough to leave my parents enough money to buy a new house with enough left over to have some to give to my siblings. According to his last note anyway.
Barely making a living? For an independent cartoonist these days he was doing pretty damn good. Hip Hop Family Tree was a NYT bestseller at one point...and something he owned the rights to, as he did for most of the stuff he did other than the X-Men Grand Design work. Look up some of the auction prices the HHFT stuff got when he put some in for a Sotheby's auction. Pretty sure the guy owned his own house, was regularly taking trips to Japan to get manga and video games and set his own schedule. In a field that's been shrinking since the mid '90s he was doing great.
As far as I know.. Murder is still a crime. Ed Piskor, "Some good people reached out and tried to help me through this whole thing but I’m just not strong enough" . He was being emotional.. We'll see if any criminal charges are brought against anyone. I believe that he just didn't like the prospect of having to begin all over again with his career life. Who would, quite, naturally? He ended his life. Ed, "I was murdered by Internet bullies. Massive amounts of them." Sucks that it happened but that's highly emotional person in their situation. Not everyone reacts the same to internet bullying. Just because someone ended themselvez doesn't make them correct in their assessment about everything as to the hows and the whys. He was admitting some fault and shame to what he did. If he wanted to persevere then he would still be alive and with us. He chose a path. It's no longer his problem.
Idk but I don't buy the story he tried to spin as being some innocent guy just being nice to a strange 17 year old girl. To go as far as to kill himself over this is wild. but maybe this was the straw that broke the camels back... He could've just explained all this while alive and salvaged what he could as many would've passionately backed him against the woke mob. A lot of this feels strange. I hate to say it but maybe there was more to it that he wanted to get away from..@@knocknockearth
@@angelmanfredy That's an effeminate reaction to things. A lot of times women think that they are their emotions. So, if Ed confused His thoughts and emotions with the surrounding reality then it's because he didn't ask for help. He didn't seek help. That was a choice. I'm not here to judge. That's just the fact of the matter.
Thanks so this One!
I wouldn't even call the messages lewd

Look up Dr Longo's theories on language being phonetically honest. Or Thomas Pynchon's "proverbs for paranoids"
"All the world's a stage"

Did you graduate high school?

There was no "victim".
No one believes in April fools anymore
Who?
An innocent man

@@knocknockearthyo some people are in pain…in fact most of them…when they commit suicide. In his emotional state he did not have a choice.
