I was thinking of going out here in 2024 (I live out west), but I noticed that you said that traffic has declined. How many trains go through here during daylight hours (in your estimation)?
First I'd say it absolutely 100% is worth a visit if you can, but to answer your question: it can vary day to day but you're at least garunteed 2 Amtraks. Traffic has sort of picked up since this video, so I'd estimate anywhere between 2-10 trains a day give or take
@@SRFSS Thanks for the quick response. Is the 2-10 trains per day in the daylight or just overall for a 24 hour period? I know that the Horseshoe Curve is also out there. I am thinking that if I visit, I would want to go for 8 to 9 days. Are there other places to railfan out there during that time?
