Yes, he’s been called the greatest vocalist ever. He’s sung with opera singer Montserrat Caballe, they made an album together. But he never left Queen for a solo career, they had a unique blend that never failed. Brian on guitar has his own kind of genius, Roger on drums is test and with his falsetto vocals, great, and quiet John on bass was a genius electrical engineer. The sound they produced together, unmatched. RIP Freddie. Still love you!!
a new subscriber - - go on reacting to Queen - and you will get lots of subscribers. If you need the full experience you must have earphones - - . I look forward to more reactions - and the many fans will help you along. The studio sections are one of a kind - they are so accomplished - but the live shows will take your breath away .
He is besides being an uniquely talented singer, Freddie was also a master musician, lyricist, composer and artist. His vocal range is outstanding, but so is his broad range of interest including Japanese art and artifacts, paintings, ballet, and opera. In fact, in his solo work away from Queen, he made an album, "Barcelona" with Spanish Soprano Montserrat Caballe with the title song featured in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Please continue with Queen music and you will discover that you already know many of their songs that are just as relevant today.
This is the song I listen to when I need an attitude adjustment, it is an absolute mood elevator. Thank you for your reaction and for checking out more Queen.
Freddie Mercury is rated the TOP Frontman in history and also one of the lead vocalist of all time due to the clarity of his words and the emotion that he puts into his voice. He had a 4 octave range that very few people have. you want to hear great, listen to the LiveAide85 concert. He had laryngitis the week before and Drs advised he not sing and 15 minutes before he was barely able to keep a note, but see what 2 shots of vodka does for him.
Live Aid 1985 not 86 as is pointed out in another comment. They did do a Wembley concert in 1986 and I recommend Under Pressure from that concert, but I agree you should check out the live aid concert. FYI all the tickets were sold out when Queen announced they would be playing too. Another couple of great songs are Someone to Love, studio and live version in Montreal , Cool Cat and the very last song he wrote before his death A Winters Tale, incredible how he maintained those vocals despite being so ill.
Freddie Mercury lead singer, Sir Dr Brian May lead guitarist, Roger Taylor drummer, John Deacon bass guitarist there you have Queen all multi instrumentalists all inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame Roger & Brian also have great voices x
Well he said :"Don't stop me now" but you did anyway - as in Bohemian Rhapsody - They always put in the notice of other video's or records - this one was "The Miracle" - one of their best - but the band had not finished - - 😉🥰
Freddie has been voted best vocalist of all time. And Brian, lead guitar is one top 10 guitarists lead guitarist Brian. And. Drummer are still playing today. Look up Brian May and Roger Taylor. John deacon ,bass guitar left the band and retired after Freddie passed.

Freddie is regarded as the best frontman ever ❤ His voice is exceptional from ballads to metal to rock no one comes close.
Yeah, and on stage, whether you're a man or woman, gay or straight, he was pure eye candy. :)

Brian May is 75 and still going strong. He still tours with the drummer and a different frontman. Still good but not Freddie Mercury.
