Yeah actually they are pretty narrow. It’s so epic that it’s not really scary- to me anyway. I only felt a little sketch on the snowy bits though because it’s just a slope and stepping in other peoples footprints..hoping it doesn’t give out on the low side and then I go sliding down the dang thing. Also loose gravel and sandy bits can be a little more nerve wracking. Slippery.
Oh do it! I was just thinking about the different ways I have hiked the trails. Solo is in my top two. Even if you’re solo you will make friends and if a sketchy bit is ahead you can ban together. Otherwise, keep your gps out and open. You may think you’ve lost for a minute here and there but you will be close. It’s all manageable. I’ve definitely had a moment- staying calm and thinking clearly is key.
37 miles!!?? Geez. How do you do that? And how do you hike so close to the edge, with nothing but air to catch you? I hate to say it, but I don't think the PCT is for me, but good luck to you!
Everyone’s body adjusts and you’ll find you can do more than you thought before trail. Sometimes there are scary bits for sure. Usually I move through those fast if I’m nervous. It’s a challenge. Yeah, maybe check out some other trails! Florida trail is gnarly and no heights. 😆
Your best footage yet! I watched it three times and just breathed. It transported me.
Ohhhh I love that section. Just incredible. It’s so breathtaking I don’t think I spoke really.
Goat Rocks is my favorite section of the PCT in WA!! Gorgeous footage!!
All of Washington is stunning but I agree!
Spectacular. You picked the right day for Goat Rocks.
I was nervous about that ⛈ for a bit but it all cleared up. Wouldn’t have had the double rainbow without the threat of a storm though.
Great footage. Really captured the Goat…. Better than my stills in 2020. Definitely need to visit again some day…
Get out there David! :). I bet your stills are stunning too. It’s hard to do this place justice but I bet you captured a bit of it.
Are those trails as tiny and narrow with a steep drop off a it looks on camera. Goat trails? My heart is pumping in excitement...

Knife 's edge footage is scary good.
Yeah it is! Thrilling!
Incredible!
Top pct spots for sure!
I wanna do the PCT sooner then later, probably solo; & one of my biggest fears is losing the trail from snow cover.
