He broke the stadium record for attendees this time. 72,000 people. I didn't even know Gillette held 72,000 and no concert has ever had that many people. Impressive. Guess he doesn't have to worry if anyone in America would like him. He is so sweet and talented how could people not like him?
I was at the stadium that night and it was mobbed, but I thought Gillette Stadium can only hold 70k people? Were there really 72k at the concert that night??
@@robinswebmail That’s what was on the news. I believe Ed said it during an interview too. I guess they could fit more on the field since it was standing, not seats.
Appreciate posting this concert. Would love to see him in person but couldn't get there. Maybe in the future at some point ( small intimate setting would probably be nicer ) . Thanks again 🎸🎸🎸
Thanks so much Brian for recording this for me! I live in Florida and obviously could not make it! That was awesome of you! Have a great 4th of July! My name is Bob Laitman
I so badly wanted to relive this concert and I am extremely thankful that you uploaded this. It was absolutely stunning to be there and I've had goosebumps at least 8-10 times while watching this video. Thank you so much!!! Also, I hope you stayed back when he changed to the patriots jersey and came back on stage a few minutes after the end of the video to play the shape of you, bad habits and 2 other since i cant remember.

Love this. I went to Pittsburgh the other day and am still in concert withdrawl so I was happy to have found this. Looks like you stopped before the encore... I hope you at least got to see it tho! Incredible concert. He does not disappoint. Would have been cool to see John Mayer too, he sounded great. Khalid was back for our show, such a great guy! He was so friendly and spent a lot of time high-fiving and taking photos with all the fans as he came in and out of the stage area.
Brilliant Ed is amazing singer , songwriter his concerts are the best I bet your glad you seen him , seen him with my daughter in Manchester England hopefully go and see him again with both my daughters and there friends and I had a good view too the best ever love you Ed xx❤️❤️

I didn’t know John Mayer was there. Was this on 30 June session? I wish I knew John was there, being his fan from 15 years ago and I’m still in love with his vocals. This man deserved more spotlight!!
John Mayer was the surprise "opener" at this concert. Did 40 minutes of just him and a guitar, running through a bunch of his hits :-) th-cam.com/video/5tRIP4T-Zbg/w-d-xo.html&t=

Nice I didn't know that either I was at the concert where he played in front of the most people he's ever performed 110,000 people
I was at his show in Nashville this last weekend, he broke the attendance record there as well.
Best show ever wanna go back tonight
Is there still time for you to travel to Gillette for tonight's show?

Yes, he opened for Ed because Khalid was supposed to open, but he was in a car accident the week prior.
For Ed Sheeran it’s was like 81k both nights in nj or my which ever by total is 160k something

Sorry we didn't get to catch most of the opening acts 😪
Where is the Gillette Stadium? It looks amazing

Ed messing up the lyrics!! He did that in Toronto as well! I was lucky enough to be front row and it was incredible. Nice video! ❤

i was at like 200 level

This dude really just plays to a backing track at a stadium gig?
Only good habits at this gig I guess?
Was he singing live? And where was the band?
I’m surprised this is legal.
Why the hell did they start before dark?! John should have started as it got dark... ruins the show
a d!!!!mnj!!!!
A falta de calidad artística, mucha luz.
Not a fan, don't know much about him, but is he playing along to a live band backing track? If yes, why no live band?
He had a live band they were on different stages

Where’s the band? Does he sing to a recording every night??
Separate stage
@@dadalonglegs as in a stage in a studio, while it was being recorded?
@@biffbifford402 I saw from a different uploader that there's a separate stage for the live band just a few meters away from the circular main stage.
@@biffbifford4022 separate stages in fact th-cam.com/video/5mcctGp34P0/w-d-xo.html
Kinda cringey doing the whole thing to a recording.... cheaper than having a band I guess. Is that reflected in the ticket prices?😂 nope.
There was a band they were on separate stages
He never used a recording. He uses a loop pedal and started using a backing band. He explains the loop pedal many times.
His loop pedal just added to my amazement of him. Juggling so many different things at one time for the entirety of the concert. It was cool to see.
