3:03 look at Titus’ left hand; he dropped that chain sword before leaping. That sorcerer tried to disrespect his psyche, so he decided to kill it in the most disrespectful way by using a combat knife instead.
I love How Demons stand before a child in shock cause why are aren’t you afraid And The child begins running at the Demon Its all fun & games until a child knows no fear
Has anyone noticed the first Bladeguard's fear? Of what looked like his armor ripping itself open to pull him out? And how the armor has "THE LIE" engraved on it? My man was a mood kindred of Cain. o7 Rest well, you were a great Astartes even if you don't believe so.
@@Aden_III It’s not uncommon, with examples RL would be receivers of Medal of Honors; they never thought they should be the ones to get them, and thought that those that died during the operation they survived through deserved it better. If anything, this Bladeguard probably saw a LOT of dead brothers before he became a Bladeguard, and thought that him becoming a Bladeguard is an undeserved honor and that they should be the ones that stood in his place. Thus, ‘THE LIE’ - he never saw himself as a Bladeguard, despite proving himself time and time again. And in this sequence, his deepest fear is that HIS ARMOR finally agrees.
I can just imagine the daemon getting into Titus’ mind and seeing a small child thinking “this will be easy”. Until the child turns around and begins marching towards it with utter willpower, belief and hatred.
Metaurus greatest fear with seeing Titus turn to Chaos. By the way props to Metaturus's voice actor, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who was in the Mummy Returns...a classic side-character much like Sean Bean...nice to see him have a larger role...he nailed it!
Pretty sure it is. In the books they always talk about how space marine weapons are way too big for normal humans to use properly, and I can recall them saying a regular marine's knife is like a sword to a mortal. I think he's carrying a Primaris-sized knife at the start, so it appears even bigger than usual
No, the sword child Titus is carrying is very obviously a marine's chainsword. Astartes combat knives are big, but they aren't as long as an actual sword, they're just around the same size in terms of sheer mass. An astartes chainsword, while definitely too big for a kid to use as a weapon, isn't so big that he couldn't drag it along the ground.
Wait just realized something. The daemon didn’t puff into a cloud of gas and blood when Titus destroyed it. Does that mean it’s a possessed human? Some super psyker xenos?
It Is a heavily mutated tzeench sorcerer. By the Power he shows It Is probably around Beta level, insanely powerful along with tzeench fuckery. He could have wiped entire squass of marine if It didn't mess with titus

Child Titus looks back at the demon.
The demon: Wait, you're not supposed to do that.
😂😂
my guy flinched like “ohshit ohshit ohshit this mf built different!”
Demon ... wait what am I doing here ... can he see me... oh shi 😮
Titus: "YOU CAME INTO THE WRONG HOUSE FOO!"

this reminds me of an old technoblade meme forgotten to time oh the good ol ages
Cringe
@@Shiny_andChrome It's neat how that reply doubles as instructions for what to do when reading it.
If Titus was up ahead of the pack, the entire squad would've made it out.
Guilliman has the Emperor's Sword.
The Lion has the Emperor's Shield.
Titus has the Emperor's Will.
Even tough his not a Primarch he sure has the will to be one.
You can tell that the guy that made Astartes worked on this. The sound design is truly something else. Love it!

I love how the only way to beat the Marines reaction time is to literally freeze time.
Titus looks at the demon

Freddy Krueger is sh*tting his burned pants right now 😂😂😂

yep, it seems he also had impostor syndrome. poor bstrd.
Dude was a whole veteran of hundreds of years and still had self doubt? Jesus
Even little doubt can take down the highly trained (in mental) Ultramarines, I fear what they can do to normal "sinful" human

*Chaos Sorcerer:* **Invades Titus' mind.**
*Titus:* "So... You have chosen death."
Deamon: What!? You can fly!?
Titus: No, jump good.
He is a Space Marine.

All you need to win from Tzeench is to put your trust in the spleen of the cards.
I did this, and now I own a soul of a primarch, is this canon?

Is the knife Titus used to kill the demon the same as the one he had as a child?
That's a big ass knife.
No, I believe he had a chainsword when the demon was in his head. I'm pretty sure.

An Astartes combat knife is the equivalent of a human sized sword, but much heavier. So that knife in the hands of a child would be accurate.

I just noticed at 1:26 that Metaurus' helmet is completely frozen.
Like ice frozen. Stopping time literally caused everything to drop degrees.
Yeah that’s how the warp operates, watch Astartes it does the same
This is amazing work .
And He Shall Know No Fear.....
Titus - 2nd Company Lieutenant
It's all fun and games until you enter into the wrong person's head
I love how titus is the only ultramarine to not get affected by the daemon
Best animated breakdown of the 2024 election yet. ❤️🚀

A possesses psyker for sure
@ I know inquisitors who can use biomancy, makes sense a pysker devoted to Xzeentch could as well
According to the credits it says Tzeentchian Sorcerer
So its was probably at some point human

A Battlebrother is to Nephites as Titus is to Astartes
What kind of demon would that be?
Kacaaau, Titus.
Wgen youbg titus turns and looks at the demon, its eye closes. attention to detail
