Aye I just wrote that I know next to nothing about WarHammer but I'm buzzing for the new Henry Cavill stuff if it ends up half as epic as this short story
I know absolutely nothing of War Hammer as i never got into it while my pals were all buying it, but if the new Henry Cavill led stuff is even half as epic as this short story, then it's gonna be phenomenal and I can't wait to learn/deep dive into all the lore!
What is Cavill doing with regards to Warhammer?? I'm new to Warhammer myself, don't know anything about it. But I love action stories and movies, and this episode right here just blew me away. I heard Cavill ranting about how much he loved Warhammer and that he's got these big, elaborate models at home that he's built and all. I kept thinking "What a big nerd he is". 😆 But now after seeing these Secret Level episodes, I'm hooked myself.😊
@tubucoco Aye a few of my pals were right into it for a couple of years and they were never that geeky, it was just really popular for a wee while. I believe Cavill is exec producer and will star in films and TV series based on the 40k series, iirc it's being backed heavily by Amazon. Took a couple of years for all the contractual stuff to be finalised so I'd imagine it won't be long before something is in production as they'll have been doing loads of pre-production stuff behind the scenes while the lawyers hashed it out. Genuinely buzzing for what they come up with.
Metaurus fear of Titus, that's what this episode is about. In the mind invasion of the sorcerer Metaurus see Titus transforming in a khornate chaos marine. Why no one mention that?
Can you explain what your comment means, please?? I'm new to all of this, I don't know anything about Warhammer. But this episode right here just blew me away, it was totally epic.😊
I would argue that Metaurus isnt in fear of Titus, he’s in fear of what Titus could become if Titus’ quality of having no fear led him down a dark path of power and greed rather than the path toward the emperor. As usual I could be wrong though. I agree with you though, I wish there was more talk about stuff like that
@@tubucoco so google what khorne does to his servants and how they all act and ull understand why metaurus fears this outcome for titus (& the imperium)
To a point I agree since it was chaos impeding the success of the mission I think he put his name forward after defeating chaos in SM2 to test if he would actually die in an absolute mortality mission. Calgar probably agreed to it only because he had faith that Titus would be successful in the mission and still make it back alive just to show to Leandros that Titus is not stained by chaos but rather immune to its pull
I wouldn't say its lacking story or a message the message is ( The emperor molded these men to be his finest warriors who shall know no fear) and the fact that titus embodies that notion to the letter mean hes one of the emperors chosen which also implies that he has a much higher purpose.
Secret Level is Amazon Studios’ take on a Love Death and Robots anthology. And it’s great that more shows like these are coming out. Short stories, all tied up and easy to consume.
Its obvious that titus and metaurus not only have a brotherly relationship but son&father one as well. An for it not of this relationship Metaurus has for Titus as a son in his eyes an emotionally for him. Everyone has speculate that Metaurus fear that broke him due to warp power was that of titus betraying him during the mission, but in fact it was his fear of losing him to records after the first game of what became of him 100's of years ago and being told what Calgar did to him that time ago. Metaurus still has/had feared of losing his son all that time ago to which he could do nothing an knowing not what happened to Titus. It makes perfect sense to send Titus whom has a certain affinity or understanding to warp/demonic things that it does not affect his will or character to being corrupt. Titus has been absolved and forgiven of all any warm taint that he was accused of, an given personal blessing from proxy Gilliman and the chapter master Calgar. i don't understand why they were sent on a suicide mission. isn't that usually what the imperial guards are there fore?
No what's weird is that they sent in 3 veteran marines and a lieutenant
@mordredpendragon1235 what should they have sent? A librarian?
@woraschkrutze4517 If it was a suicide mission I'd probably would have just sent a normal squad
Why sacrifice 3 vets and a officer
why was it so dark could barely see anything
Damn so basically no Space Marine 3?!
