A Brit here, resident of Taiwan for 20 years, I miss the proper ol’ fish and chips in a paper/newspaper wrap, 4 slices of bread and salted butter for the butties, magic. Have been around the globe with me Taiwanese wife, and spent two fantastic weeks in Brisbane and the Gold Coast a few years back, we were made to feel so welcome. We plan to go back and we will deffo visit some of these fine establishments!. Top video Grego and respect!.

Pretty standard looking little chippy joint there GregO and surprised you went with the Pepsi Zero uh… great cricket park that one and that’s where I cut my teeth also for the U9s Vikings! That batter didn’t seem to crunch one bit and not surprised if the rawness - like a donut. Amazing what a little squeeze of citrus can do uh as well as a good seasoning base… cheers Gibbo

Battered Chips 🍟? The only potatoes we have Battered here are Potato Scallops. They are not cut like chips , they are slices about 4mm thick and battered.

Let’s see what they’ve got to offer and how they rate on the Greggo’s all round food rating scale ……. I must admit I haven’t tried much but they must have something to offer. Love the vids…..Keep the vids rolling and see if you can’t find a cracking bacon, cheese, fried onion, original smoked saveloy on a lightly toasted bun with American mustard and sauce. There an almost extinct creature 👍👍👍a bit like a tassie tiger…. Almost a forgotten species.

I buy gold and silver bullion, I can tell you right now that show is not what you think it is. For you to have a production crew with you the moment you find a multi ounce nugget is absolute BS. Not sure of the chances of finding those nuggets, but I'm positive it would be in the millions. Those guys would be lucky to gather grams in a month. You spend years gathering gold dust before you break the bank and most have never broke the bank. That's why I go straight to gold dealers. Cut all that crap out.
