He accomplished something so great with a great team. I loved how he didn’t take credit for other people’s work.

I’m one of a few Negroes that attended three schools in the AUC: Morris Brown, Morehouse and Clark Atlanta 😂. I always wanted to go to Morehouse. I wasn’t accepted due to grades (a C student). I then applied to Morris Brown in hopes of transferring. I attended from 89-91. All I wanted to be was rich and famous (businessman, singer, actor, dancer, writer) with no desire for higher education. I hated school. It wasn’t until my 30s when I took education serious. I later when on to matriculate at Morehouse graduating, and studied for my Ph.D at Clark Atlanta. Dr. James was correct. Morris Brown was the soul of the AUC. I studied under the tutelage of Dr. West, Kanye’s late mother while in undergraduate at M.B. I’ve always said I plan to give $1,000,000 to Morris Brown whenever I’m in that tax bracket. I’m like Lord, I’m 56 now😂🙏🏿. 5 degrees later and somewhat successful, Morris Brown holds a special place in my heart 💙.

Enjoyed this interview. Respect to Dr. James for his tenacity. Most would have quit. He stayed ten toes down and God continues to bless him and the Morris Brown Community.

As a CAU grad who now has former students attending my alma mater, its hard to explain how different the AUC was when Morris Brown was at full strength!

God is the best, awesome, the best etc… I can't find a word to really describe how powerful and wonderful our father God is. This guy he sent is 46 hes persistent and and most of all hes faithful he deserves everything that God has for him and more. Now I would like to know how Ms. Delores Crossed feel about this if she even has a conscience I bet it's eating her up.
