This is why I love your videos!! Direct, detailed, truthful and objective!! 👍👍 That front axle man!!! Whoah😳 If SpaceX didn’t manufacture that, the company should surely increase to a heavy, standard axle that could be repaired from any bike shop! Much love to you both while I’m getting over 4days of the flu!!! Can’t wait for the next one!
Good Video! I always bring dual suspension e-mtbikes when I'm camping in an RV. Coincidentally, I bought a couple of JupiterBike Discovery X5 folding ebikes that I bought for my sailboat. They don't have that much power but they have a super small storage footprint and if you underestimate your range & run out of battery, they are light enough to pedal manually
I used to do a whole lot of mountain biking and road riding. I got so into it that I kept breaking parts so I upgraded to all titanium on my mountain bike and got a carbon fiber road bike frame with titanium parts. Each bike was around $10,000 but I got my moneys worth as I was ridding at least 140 per week and running at least 24 miles per week on single tract trails. sometimes I bumped it up to around 50 miles per week. I was ripped and felt so good. What I loved about running trails in the back country was the natural high that you get. Then I got more serious with construction and didn't have enough time to go and play after work. Yeah, I did this after working all day in the construction industry and then I would do an all day trail run, mountain bike or road ride adventure on the weekend. I always took off one day a week to recover. I miss it but have never tried an electric bike. I feel that it's cheating:). Don't worry about the size of that bolt to hold the front wheel on. That's a standard size and is plenty strong! All my bikes have the same size. Both of my bikes each weigh less than 20 lb's. and I ride them very hard. You can adjust your breaks. The reason that your front breaks are rubbing is most likely due to the front rim being bent a little bit. Take it to a bike shop and have them true it up.
E bikes Rule I've got a EBike gets up all the hills around here that were Impossible too ride up with a normal Pushie I ride it too work every day no worries with parking Traffic Good score bro will come in handy for ya both, Guaranteed 😮 Mine does 30 km on a 48v battery with all the hills, But it's enough 😅
@SailingLifeonJupiter oh P.s That front axle Isn't Carrying any weight of the Bike It's only Too keep the Forks together around the part that Transfers all the load too the forks

Good info tks Rob
Yes... But... Check out an Electric Scooter w/Seat as a solution. Much simpler to operate, weights less and more compact.
That’d do the trick also. Cheers
I'd think a folding version might help on the boat..if you could find one light and capable enough
True Andrew. We are on the lookout for one.
