Julien makes me feel so seen and I loved this interview so much. Her soul is so so beautiful and her talents are remarkable. I feel honored (in a way) to see an interview where her personality shines through. Her laugh is so contagious and her smile is so warm. I can't wait to watch her grow as a musician and as a person, I know she's gonna do great things (more than she's already done).

Yeah I totally get what Julien was saying, the show is more structured so she feels more secure and is able to relax and enjoy it more because she’s confident in what she needs to be doing when, not having to wing anything or make constant decisions on stage.

You can usually see how much thought and consideration she puts into everything she says, which can come off scattered but a lot of people find endearing, I do. I don't think I've ever seen her half-ass an answer. This definitely isn't the best example. But her solo interviews are some of my favorite of any artist.

i was at a concert tonight and didn’t hear anything particularly loud, but i know i most definitely sang ‘how long do i have until/i’ve spent up everyone’s goodwill?’ and ‘who put me in your way to find?/what right had you not to let me die?’ louder than the rest. then again, those make sense to sing loudly, so i’m not really sure
I was at the Phoenix, Arizona show on 6/6 and did not hear anything particularly loud during “Favor” either. If anything, I really enjoyed how quiet it was, as I could hear her so well (unlike some songs where she was nearly drowned out at parts). I am mostly silent when she sings, as I am both in awe and don’t ever want to hear my own voice over hers in my audio recordings. 😂 I mouth along the lyrics, and also really love that line “what right had you not to let me die,” as it is a bit reminiscent for me of some of my other favorite lyrics of hers from “Rejoice”: And somebody's listening at night/the ghosts of my friends when I pray/asking, "Why did You let them leave And then make me stay?" 🥹 I don’t know if she noticed that my eyes were glued to her almost the entire night, but I got her guitar pick that she used for “Favor.” 😭 She tossed it right after, just before they started “Graceland Too.” I absolutely lost it. Through tears I mumble, “whatever she wants.” One of the most special concert moments of my life-I think I lived through it to get to that moment. 🖤🌈
