I first heard Helloween in 1987 and I knew right away that it was a band of my heart. 34 years , I'm proud to be your fan
I think it was in '88 when I first heard them. A total stranger in a record store in Arizona sees me looking at metal albums and hands me KOTSK_part-1. He said, if you love metal, you HAVE to take this up there and buy this cassette! He was so adamant about it, so I did and I wish I could thank him! 5 nights ago I saw them live for the first time in LA and it was from the front row!

I'm a fan since 85 and I'm now 51, this is the perfect Helloween lineup. The 2 lads kiske, and Deris and even Kai singing like Bowie!! The melodies the duets the guitars the Bass the Drums everything, a Helloween masterpiece the more you listen the better it gets!! Wow 🤩 thank you Helloween!!

I met Michael the singer, Michael the guitar player, & Kai Hansen in Vegas at their show. I was staying in the same hotel, I saw them hanging out around 10am be the pool so I went up and talked to them - very cool guys! We hung out for about 3-4 hours took pics and told stories untl they had to go to sound check so it was cool. I saw their show later that night and what a great show! What a great band live! I wish them nothing but success - very cool guys who were very cool to me, even though they didn't have to be - rock on!

The coolest thing for me was when I was a kid, my uncle took me and my friends trick or treating in his T-bird blowing out our eardrums to Keeper of the Keys 1(yes I'm that old) I can't wait till I can take my niece and her friends out this year, I don't have a T-Bird but do have a Ram 3500 with a custom sound system. Their ears will be ringing for a long time.

Well I am no expert by any stretch and I can definitely appreciate the sheer logistics of this. I am truly grateful to all of them for coming together and doing this. It truly is a ray of light in a dark world. That's what Light workers do. And you're looking at seven of them there. Whether they know it or not.
Michael Kiske's vocals are timeless. He literally sounds the same as he did in the 80's.
He's unbelievable. I honestly don't have a clue how the hell can he still sing like that..
He sounds just like he did in the 80s I can't distinguish any difference at all and that's hard for a vocalist..hes simply amazing

No jodamos. Deris y Kiske se conservan muy bien, pero Hansen no canta una mierda. Compara esto con el Land of the Free y luego vuelve a decirme que tiene la voz intacta.

It's amazing how they managed to pull of 3 singers, I'm not a fan of Kai Hansen's voice (this is coming from a Gamma Ray fan) but they used him well on this song
@@masalps I am a gamma ray fan as well but I am a fan of kai's singing and even enjoyed his vocals on walls of Jericho but in recent years live with gamma ray he lost a lot of his clean but powerful highs, which began around 2009 and I hated the tuning with gamma ray from a half step down tuning to a whole step down tunning, the same way I hated and still hate it with helloween and andi before this album. And kai and andi both smoke.
A good example concerning gamma ray is the track insurrection from land of the free 2 in studio it was in standard tune and kai sounded great but by the time he performed it live with gamma ray it was 2011 and it was performed live a whole step down and kai's vocals during the skeletons and majestie shows had degraded vs until 2008 2009.
New? Deris has been fronting Helloween for 27 years, several times more than Kai & Kiske combined. For that matter Sascha & even Dani have been with Helloween longer than either one.

One thing that I never thought I would see is Michael Kiske and Andi Deris sing together in Helloween with Kai Hansen. The chemistry that Michael and Andi have in this song when they are singing together really gave me goosebumps and chills. I love that all three lead singers that Helloween has had in their history are all singing parts on their new songs and old songs on their tours.
Have been listening to Halloween since I was a teenager and now I'm 53 and the feeling is the same. A masterpiece of a song🤘🏻Thanks 🤘🏻

Being from the 1980s heavy metal generation today at age 47, this great song and the video made me feel extremely emotional remembering all the years I've been a Helloween fan. Thank you German heavy metal legends for still bringing us the good true original root heavy metal fabulous Helloween music.

No. I'm a Helloween fan and the dream would be to have a new great Helloween album. That's not the case since 2005. Only a bunch of good albums, but nothing transcendent. Helloween is the second "fan-service" album but not a great album. Let's be patient...

Actually he’s one of only a few "reasons" i became a bassist myself.
Helloween as band is criminally underrated. To think of it, whole German scene somehow has only fraction of recognition compared to Brits and Americans.

It's a dream to hear Hansen, Deris and Kiske together. The vocals have not aged after more than 30 years! Amazing!
Kai and Andis vocals have aged in kais case he has lost more of his clean scream highs from years of smoking and andi also smokes, in kiske's case because he quit smoking in the 1990s his voice sounds way better and more powerful than they did during his first helloween stint.

For some reason he seems to have lost his amazing vibrato, it's still there, but far less powerful than before :( You can easily hear the difference between his Keepers era long notes vs this.
@@MaximusAdonicus kiske still has his long notes and vibrato but I always thought kiske overused his vibrato during his first stint with helloween and thought especially on keepers one compared to kai back then had weaker vocals, keepers 2 kiske used a little more chest voice on some some songs, but his highs were never nearly then as powerful as kai's were or ralph sheepers, if you listen to gamma rays debut album heading for tommorow, 4 songs were songs intended for keepers one and 2, including the song the silence, lust for life, heading for tommorow, so I often say this could micheal kiske have back then based on how he sang keepers one and 2 sang those songs on gamma rays debut as well and as powerfully as Ralph did and my answer is no, these days though I could picture kiske singing parts of the silence and singing heading for tomorow and doing well with it. As for kiske not using as much vibrato that is because he was using a lot more chest voice and trying to sing skyfall more like kai wants, as did andi, and kai wrote the song and sang all the vocals on the demo version and like andi and kiske sang all the vocals on the album version and did them first.
Again it's about singing the singing the songs correctly also, in Andi's case his weakness when he first joined helloween was his raspiness from smoking with the highs, and like kiske had trouble using his chest voice for singing certain parts and his high pitched highs, also kiske is naturally a baritone voice like Rob Halford is. In kiske case I prefer his voice now vs 1987 or even 1988 or 1993, and still standby my thoughts that he sounds more powerful now even with his highs, andi weaker in some ways and kai definitely a lot weaker with his highs and clean Halford like highs he had. Until around 2011.

In 2007 , Gamma Ray toured with Helloween in America. It was an epic show with Kai joining Andy and Helloween on the last few songs of the show.

There's something really surreal about this song. It feels like the end credits of a really long journey. It's so crazy to think that with all the twists and turns in Helloween's career, the constant lineup changes, backstage drama and even divided fanbase that it'd all eventually come out and reveal a happy ending for the long-term story.
If this ends up being the note Helloween goes out on, I wouldn't be mad at all.
It would actually be the perfect note to go out on if they broke up after this for some reason. They've given us 40 years of music, they've definitely given us enough high quality stuff and there's nothing better for a legacy than a great ending.
I agree about that but, c'mon, Kiske is 53 but his voice is pretty much intact and as good as it has ever been. If they are in good terms, I would love for Kiske to keep singing with them. Or, at the very least make more music with Hansen.

Helloween's my all-time favorite band if it were up to me, they'd never end. However, if this album ends up being the end like it kinda feels like, I'd be contempt with it because who doesn't want their favorite band to go out with a bang instead of a whimper?

38 years here. I still remember that summer of 1996 when I was 14 years old, checking the cds at my friend's house and found The time of the Oath! We Burn was the first song I heard from them.

Willensfreiheit: Nach dem Kirchenvater Origenes verleitete die ihnen eingeräumte Willensfreiheit einige Engel dazu, sich mehr und mehr von Gott zu entfernen. Einige wurden dadurch zu Menschen oder gar zu Dämonen und mussten deshalb aus dem Himmel vertrieben werden - nicht ohne die Möglichkeit zu haben, durch Tugend und gottgefälliges Leben dorthin zurückzukehren. Origenes wurde u. a. wegen dieser Lehren beinahe als Häretiker exkommuniziert. Nach der Vorstellung von Augustinus von Hippo ist das Böse ein Resultat der Willensfreiheit, und somit besteht der Fall der Engel ebenfalls in ihrer freien Entscheidung zu sündigen. Die Sünde der Engel könne aber nur, da sie nach Augustinus geistige Wesen seien, im Geiste und nicht auf körperlicher Ebene erfolgen. Zudem gilt die Entscheidung der Engel als einmalig, weshalb die gefallenen Engel weder bereuen, noch die Engel Gottes sündigen können.[5]
Lust: Nach dem apokryphen Buch Henoch ist es sexuelle Lust, die den Sturz der Engel herbeigeführt hat. Gott hatte die Grigori, eine bestimmte Engelgruppe, damit beauftragt, den Erzengeln bei der Schaffung des Gartens Eden zu helfen. Auf die Erde herabgestiegen, verliebten sie sich jedoch in die Menschentöchter, verrieten ihnen himmlische Geheimnisse und zeugten mit ihnen sogar Kinder, das Riesengeschlecht der Nephilim (vgl. hierzu auch Gen 6,1 EU). Darüber war Gott so erzürnt, dass er die Grigori aus dem Himmel verstieß, ihnen ihre Unsterblichkeit nahm und sie in Dämonen verwandelte. Die Sintflut sandte er nicht zuletzt, um das Geschlecht der Nephilim auszulöschen. - Eine ähnliche Geschichte findet sich in der islamischen Exegese in Bezug auf die im Koran genannten Engel Harut und Marut. Nachdem sie Allah baten, die Sündhaftigkeit der Menschen zu strafen, wurden sie in Menschengestalt auf die Erde gesandt. First Helloween song I heard was Twilight Of the Gods and last album I bought was KOTSK 2. So I really don't know any of the post Hansen / Kiske music whereas I've heard some Gamma Ray and Unisonic material. Saw some Pumpkins United stuff on here; particularly the classic tunes live. But this tune makes me 14 all over again! Everything that was great about Helloween preserved, refined and improved upon. Hope is restored!

Personally. Hansen as a Speed Metal singer is #1. "Walls of Jericho" album. Helloween started as a Speed Metal Band, Turned to Power Metal.

The best era are the first one and the latest one, Kai and Kiske give the better performance and power to helloween, The second voice is Hanse of course, the happy power metal king with Gammaray, Deris is a normal singer for a great power metal band (only with Kai & Kiske helloween will be).
