@@frosty_teacup idk the b story where Pierce is helping him get over his girly sneeze problem was fun also the roommate storylines. If they had more well written, organic stories like that I think it would come out pretty well. Obviously not as good as Troy and Abed, though.

In an interview with Chevy, he stated that the only reason he stayed was for the money and the cast. He loved hanging out with most of the cast at that point. Chevy has a sarcastic sense of humour that was them joking around.

Because as much as he got on well enough with most of the cast, that was certainly NOT the case when it came to Donald Glover. This isn’t new news and their butting heads relationship is beyond infamous

Danny's character in Mythic Quest is almost like the antithesis of Abed. That show is fantastic, btw. Created and written by Rob (who also stars) and Charlie from Sunny In Philly.

He didn't like his character and he didn't like the show, which is a shame. Apparently he made a joke that could be deemed insensitive, but I suppose that was a part of comedy when he was big.
@@thetrippedup9322 He was displeased with how increasingly racist Pierce was written. At one point he asked Dan Harmon "What's next, is Pierce gonna say n****r?" And that was the perfect opportunity for Dan to get rid of him.

I get you. But a scene before that, Donald walks up to Chevy and asks him to repeat the line about putting a thing in his mouth, and Chevy readily humors him.
And in this, Donald draws a genuine laugh from Chevy. I don't think that would have been the case if any malice from Chevy ran that deep.
MegaSilverBlood thé issue was the rest of the cast could joke like they and they’d know they’re joking but if Chevy did it due to the shit between Harmon and himself, the rest of the cast refused to take it as such at least for a brief period of time. They all got over what happened quicker than anyone here. They’re friends. And we’re all arguing
Karin Sendo they got along like most co workers. They had their good moments and bad moments. The sad thing here is the most vivid and picture painting recollections from how he treated the cast or acted around them is coming from edgy teens on the internet, whereas the actual cast have nothing but respect and understanding for him. It’s just weird and sad to see

The bloopers show why certain relationships did or didn't work well on the show. Danny Pudi and Donald Glover were genuinely friends so it translated onscreen. Chevy was a jerk which is his scenes had tension in. Joel Mchale and Alison Brie were friends so ended up having nice chemistry.
Dan Harmon was an ass to Chevy too tho

@@lamestudiosinc418 I recall hearing Dan Harmon on someone’s interview say Joel was very indulgent of Chevy’s behavior, not encouraging him to be a problem, but almost like Joel was there to help keep his erratic behavior less intense. The man was very patient and charismatic with the whole crew, makes me wish he did more shows like thisz
Danny is the CUTEST THING I've ever seen
I absolutely lost it not one minute in because of Danny and Donald laughing. It felt so genuine, and kind of like a stolen moment. Laughed really hard, then kinda went “aw” and now my eyes are teary. They just seem like such sweet friends who genuinely love and enjoy one another’s company.

Apparently in Season 3, the reason that the writers had him drinking ink is because he pissed them off.
He bashed the show and the writing very publicly in interviews and him and Dan Harmon butted heads a lot.

Jay Riza Joel Mchale mentioned in an interview that Chevy was very open about not wanting to be there and while he stated friends with the cast, it’s never easy coming to work when someone is very overtly negative the whole time about not wanting to be there.
