    I have a fantasy about Masterchef. When the judges come up to me while I'm creating my masterpiece and they say those famous masterchef words, 'what is your dish called' I would turn to them proudly and say, "Carl. My dish is named Carl" I could have great chuckle watching them try to figure how to spin that....

    I got so vested in the 2021 series, it was an amazing show with super relatable contestants. Very sad losing Jock and now Melissa is leaving as well. Andy Allen will pull it together again for viewers.....

    So sad that Melissa is replaced. I liked the way she got genuinely emotional about a perfect food creation.

      @@1minuteofmasterchef188Honestly I thought that I won't like the new judges but when the seasons came out. They became my new favourite trio in just 2-3 episodes. They brought such liveliness and youthfulness to the show.
      I was so shocked to hear about Jock's passing away. RIP mate.❤ ❤

    Sorry, but Jock is still on my mind, I'm not ready for this!! And why did Mel leave??
    Masterchef Australia is the best of all shows of Masterchef in the world. USA is so excagerated, horrible! And unnecessary rude to the contestants, very high ego when it comes down to the jury. And the Netherlands for instance, oh my God, amateurs!

      She will be hosting and judging the new show of MasterChef which is the Dessert Master. th-cam.com/video/mG9KXZe3B98/w-d-xo.html

      I have watched Masterchef Australia, USA and India (my country). But Australia is easily my favourite.
      The American version is just unnecessary drama and screaming. I have seen Gordon on MasterChef USA Junior and he was such a sweet person. Which makes me wonder if he goes so hard on the adults just for the TRP .
      And don't even get me started on the Indian version. Everything is sponsored. While cooking, they will keep mentioning the brand names of oil, butter etc. Even cleaning dishwasher soap.
      One time they actually asked the contestants to wipe their counters with a specific brand of liquid soap in the name of cleanliness. (with whom they had a partnership deal). Not very subtle way of product placement 😂😂

      Fellow Indian here, MasterChef India is absolute crap in quality and extremely superficial. It's nowhere close to the quality of MasterChef Australia @@akashvig5007

      may be from a Aussie point of view. I would like to see Andy and Po to be replaced. Inparticular Andy he is such bragger with his awkward behaviour when talking during the people are cooking with his distracting and negative talks making the contestants insecure.
      To me Masterchef deserves esthablised chef/experts. Not being previous winners.

    They could have kept Melissa Leong and bring back one of the four original Masterchef Australia judges like George Calombaris, Gary Mehigan, Matt Preston or Matt Moran. But I think those four original Masterchef Australia judges wanted to move on from the show.

    Poe should not be a judge on master chef.. she is not a professionally trained or qualified chef…and her Asian heritage should not be a factor in her being a judge.. a slap in the face any qualified chef who has trained for years and done the hard yards in the industry..?

      @CultgentlemanJack 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@davidscott820 even harsher for anybody in the industry that sweet blood and tears to be a professional in a cut throat industry. No offence to her but why not fill that spot as a judge with a qualified experienced trained professional with over twenty five to thirty years experience in the industry..she just won Master chef a TV show..that shouldn’t qualify you to be a judge.. to qualify as a contestant you must not have any prior experience or qualifications in the industry..that says it all like I said previously a slap In The face for a experienced professional in the industry..she is just an ex contestant..?

    • @CultgentlemanJack
      @CultgentlemanJack 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@ramt6102 they are awesome attributes and I totally agree. Except her role on the show is of a judge who critiques due to experience training and qualifications. Poe is a talented woman and successful individual in her own right power to her. But she still should not be apart of the judging panel I’m sorry it should be reserved for those how can offer years of experience skills knowledge and professional training not because her presences generates valuable ratings for channel ten.

      @Tim._.. 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      She has been in the industry for like 15 years after being a finalist on the show out of thousands of applicants. What makes you think that someone who has just worked in a restaurant all their life be 'qualified' for show business? There is a lot more to being a TV host and Judge than cooking skill and technique. It is a home chef cooking show as well, not professional chefs. They have profesional chefs as guests on all the time as well. Why are you bringing up Asian heritage? why don't you care about the other woman who hasn't worked as a professional chef or been on TV before? are you racist sir?

    • @CultgentlemanJack
      @CultgentlemanJack 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Tim._.. not being racist at all that dose not come into the equation. I’m a professional hef been cooking for over twenty five years. In modern cuisine.the Asian element is an essential element but shouldn’t be a requisite for a qualification and in the same respect neither should an Italian chef. No matter your ethic background a grudge should reflect experience qualifications and training. Master chef is a home cook built show but the judges need to have the qualifications and experience to judge an inexperienced chef.

    Get rid of all of these ridiculous judges! And why do we have to always tolerate a french judge? Would Love to watch the show but need new judges not just contestants that have previously won, need actual professional chefs judging and how did Po get here oh dear! She was just a contestant and actually like all of them not qualified to judge! These contestants try so hard to only be judged by ex contestants! Seriously!! There are some awesome top rated chefs that make appearances on the show that should be the judges, give us a break as I feel so sorry for the contestants because the majority can cook better than the ex contestant judges that the produces make them seem professional! This show could be worth while watching if only!! Get a grip produces as even the ads are intolerable!!!

    This 2024 season has wonderful chefs, great contestants and amazing food - but it’s also the only season to my knowledge that permits the Holy name of Jesus Christ to be used as a swear word. If only people could know the One whose name they’re using in this way! Just cannot watch this season any longer for this reason alone.
