I thought a swamp for the base of a larger resin & clay piece (you know like when she does the scenes with polymer clay creatures and stuff). Though the idea of jewellery is a great one! There's plenty to do all of that.
I haven't read all of the comments, but wanted to chime in with some advice. I hope you don't mind. First, you used WAYYYYY too much paint to color your resin, it only takes a very little bit. You shouldn't ever exceed 10% of colorant to resin, or you risk it going gloopy and unusable. Second, the hair dryer works beautifully to move the resin, you get lacing mostly when you put one color over top of a still wet first color and apply heat or movement. It also helps if the lacing color is slightly thinner than the first color. This is lovely, you did a great job, and yes, it is VERY expensive lol

However it probably looks better in real life though because its hard to film in small spaces and you wouldn't see the subtle differences from the shine of the resin like you would in real life. Plus if she was going for a more subtle look then it works for that. I very much approve of the white and green combo for bathrooms though. I do love green. :)

So I've been aiming to try a few acrylic pours and after seeing Jenna and you, my need has intensified! That was a LOT of resin. I'll probably stick to just the paints (floetral and silicone) let it dry then put a clear coat of resin over it. This was a fun take of pouring but you have to measure out to exact needs and move crazy fast. Love it though!
I'm so glad you could save the second one! I love them both! also it wouldn't be nerdy without some nerdy symbols or characters on them awesome additions!

After stirring the paint, wipe the excess of the stick into the can then dip a length of the stick shorter than your destination container depth into the can, kind of scoop it up a bit and, holding your container over the can, lift the stick up, put it in the cup and scrape the bottom of the stick over the edge of the cup then repeat the scrape with the top of the stick. Repeat until you have your desired amount in the cup or other container. 😀 Very low mess and pretty accurate for measuring.
im only halfway thru this video but i LOVE your color scheme. ive watched so many resin and acrylic pours where the artist puts in every color they have and theyre surprised when it turns out looking brown and mismatched.
