    What to eat in SArajevo? In short - everything! Bosnian food is amazing, a unique mix of influences from the Balkans, central Europe, and of course, Turkey. Make sure you drink a lot of coffee, but sloooooowly. No rush in Bosnia. :)

    Seeems like you ate lots of foodsss over there guys! The soup really made you happy 😁 I can imagine how tasty and delicious this is. The saleb drink looks also so good. What is this basically? Is this with coffee? By the way, how cheap is the food over there? 🤗

    • @Onebackpackeach
      @Onebackpackeach  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We love the foods there and luckily we dont have so much food restrictions 😁😁 you should also go there and try, guys... the soup was only like 3.5 mark which is like 1.75 eur per bowl including the bread. Well, bottomline I think the foods are quite cheap 😀.
      Salep is basically a drink made of root of orchid genus orchis and usually they put cinnamon on top of it. It is really tasty and healthy (based on what we read 😅). The forst time we tried Salep was when we visited Turkey. I guess it's from Turkey as well (I hope I dont offense any Bosnian 😅).

    • @Onebackpackeach

      Yeah, that's because we lived in Holland for quite some time and we do speak some Dutch 😅😅

      Not true at all, but yeah... I love turkish cuisine an di am bosnian. Despite the fact, that Bosnia was under the ottoman empire for hundreds of years - turkey still has a way more diverse cuisine, which is totally normal considering its other geographical situation and its way bigger size.

    • @mariawerner8447
      @mariawerner8447 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Boricheck Turkish cuisine is not diverse, as everyone who has done a bit of travelling knows…

      @@mariawerner8447 And again, its not true.
      But no point in arguing about it as you have obviously travelled a lot more than me in the named countries, and i guess you seem to know how much time i spent in Turkey and Bosna ;)
      Wish you all the best Maris, hugs :)
