@ 11:00 about the trade evos, here's a great lifehack for those who dont have cartridge: get the pokemon rom randomizer. don't have to randomize anything. find the setting that says "change impossible evos." and overwrite your rom. you can get all your fave trade evo pokemon that way if you want them. no wizardry required.
Seeing how people treat the Turtwig line which is my favourite makes me sad. The Elite 4 and Cynthea are hard. I have bad memories from them and from BW's N and Ghetsis too.

true story when i was 9 it took me like 40 tries to beat Candice because of her abomosnow i chose turtwig as my stater and like most kid I only use my starter for my play through.but I did not know grass and ground are weak to ice so I kept losing to her abomasnow. it got so bad that I actually throw and destroyed my first ever DS. I was really that mad so when I got a new one I caught me a under level medicham and use it to swept all of her Pokemon. I was so freaking happy. I also find it funny that my level 40 starter kept losing but a level 25 pokemon could single handly beat Candice
Fun fact Mystic the reason gyarados died from that brave bird is because brave bird goes through gyarados intimidate which doesn't lower it's attack and killing it
Jaiden was using dupes clause. Shinx didn't count as first encounter in Valley Windworks since she didn't catch the first one she ran into at the beginning of the game. Wooper was the Great Marsh/Safari encounter, and she was trying to run away, but accidentally hit Ball and caught it, so that counted as her encounter. Her first run, Colgate the Togekiss caught crit one-shot by Aaron's Heracross with stone edge. Quagsire got crit by Bertha's Rhyperior earthquake, and she forgot it had avalanche and sent out Garchomp which killed it. After Bertha she gave up cause her remaining team members were Magnezone, Torterra, and Scizor, all weak to fire, so she had no hope. I think it was near or it actually was her birthday so she did a poll and chat voted to have her try the Elite 4 again which she won, since the reason she lost before was unlucky RNG mostly. After winning, she said it felt hollow and shallow and that she didn't really deserve it.
for a more explained version for those who are confused by the ending, she ended up losing her togekiss to aaron's heracross (pretty sure from a stone edge) and then her garchomp and quagsire were both killed by rhyperior crits. that left magnezone, toreterra, and scizor and next was flint so she gave up, but since it was almost her birthday, she did a poll asking her chat if she could retry and 70% said yes. that also explains giratina ripping her in 2 in the distortion world

Explanation for the ending: JAIDEN UNFORTUNATELY LOST THE NUZLOCK Garchomp and Quagsire fainted against Bertha Rhyperior 🏖 and Togekiss fainted against Aaron Heracross 🐜and her remaining team couldn't defeat Flint fire types 🔥, so had to restart the battle against the elite four. That why she was so sad at the ending😔

So, you kinda have to see her stream archives of her Platinum Nuzlocke to get the full picture. She got very unlucky with the Bertha battle in the Elite Four. She did defeat Bertha, but after the battle with Bertha, she had to retry the Elite Four and then win the game, since the rest of her team had no chance against Flint. Watching the stream, it was honestly so unfortunate that she got half of her team wiped by Bertha, especially since it was pretty much based on luck that time. As for your reaction to Jaiden's video, I thoroughly enjoyed it! This video is just so much fun, as usual. Nope, she was running the "Dupes" clause as intended. Turt killed the first Shinx and she accidentally missclicked the Ball button against the Wooper instead of the Run button, ergo the name "Oops".

To give context to the "alternate timeline Jaiden" she originally lost her nuzlocke but chat told her to try again and she won the second time with the elite 4.
The whole separate dimension thing was a reference to her stream. When she fought Bertha her Quagsire and Garchomp died but the chat told her to revive them and she did. And in the fire hallucination with Torterra, Magnezone, and Scizor is when the chat made her reluctantly revive Garchomp and Quagsire so she could stand a chance against Flint. She didn’t want to lie to us so she took liberty into including that in the video in a very creative way and she did an excellent job. I didn’t even know what was going on until I saw a commenter on the official video
I definitely share their pain, when it comes to Nuzlockes. I've done a few. Almost won my first one, yet lost during the Finals in Shield. And yes, i'd spend an hour or so in the Distortion World. I had a deep love of the music, and Origin Forme Giratina.

Long and short of it is she fought the elite 4 on her birthday and lost. The images she sees are what actually happened the first time she fought them. Since it was her birthday, chat voted to let her try again, which is what we see happen in the video. The split timelines and her reflection at the end is her way of incorporating what happened into the video.
Jaiden plays on Rom and there’s a method to manipulate each pokemon. You can basically change a Bidoof into Arceus if you wish. But it’s mostly used to evolve trade evolution pokemon.
Fun fact: Cynthia's Garchomp in Platinum is level 62 in the first champion battle, and level 78 in the rematch after Stark Mountain. Since I did a Nuzlocke in Platinum, I did the "no over leveling" clause, I thought Cynthia's Garchomp was level 66 as well, but realized that I overleveled my Garchomp and Medicham by 2 (They were each level 64) so I was not able to use them. I won, but it all came down to how many Revival Herbs and Full Restores I had. (200 of each cause I kept battling Rich Kids for like 7 hours with my Amulet Coin)

my little cousin and I like to play the pokemon games in the summer and sometimes we play nuzlocke. For some reason every time we play when he loses a pokemon he doesn't show any emotion. He could lose a pokemon he has been raising forever and not care.
I don't understand why Mystic doesn't like Torterra, out of the three Sinnoh starters it's better than Empoleon and has viability agaisnt Infernape with it's type matchup.

Eevee can actually evolve into Leafeon immediately after getting it, by taking it back to Eterna Forest and using a Rare Candy by the mossy rock. Too bad Leafeon isn't actually viable in gen 4 games.

In her defense though it was because of crits, which means it was unpreventable luck not a lack of skill on her part that she lost the initial try.

Yeah, I was getting super annoyed as well, almost clicking off the video every time. You can dislike a character (or Pokémon in this case) but it gets annoying after hearing the same thing over and over and over again.

@ 11:00 about the trade evos, here's a great lifehack for those who dont have cartridge: get the pokemon rom randomizer. don't have to randomize anything. find the setting that says "change impossible evos." and overwrite your rom. you can get all your fave trade evo pokemon that way if you want them. no wizardry required.

Seeing how people treat the Turtwig line which is my favourite makes me sad. The Elite 4 and Cynthea are hard. I have bad memories from them and from BW's N and Ghetsis too.
I think he's pretty much alone with his opinion, at least with his acted hatred. Torterra is one of the best designed Pokémon, hands down.

true story when i was 9 it took me like 40 tries to beat Candice because of her abomosnow
i chose turtwig as my stater and like most kid I only use my starter for my play through.but I did not know grass and ground are weak to ice so I kept losing to her abomasnow. it got so bad that I actually throw and destroyed my first ever DS. I was really that mad so when I got a new one I caught me a under level medicham and use it to swept all of her Pokemon. I was so freaking happy. I also find it funny that my level 40 starter kept losing but a level 25 pokemon could single handly beat Candice
Fun fact Mystic the reason gyarados died from that brave bird is because brave bird goes through gyarados intimidate which doesn't lower it's attack and killing it
Jaiden was using dupes clause. Shinx didn't count as first encounter in Valley Windworks since she didn't catch the first one she ran into at the beginning of the game. Wooper was the Great Marsh/Safari encounter, and she was trying to run away, but accidentally hit Ball and caught it, so that counted as her encounter.
Her first run, Colgate the Togekiss caught crit one-shot by Aaron's Heracross with stone edge.
Quagsire got crit by Bertha's Rhyperior earthquake, and she forgot it had avalanche and sent out Garchomp which killed it.
After Bertha she gave up cause her remaining team members were Magnezone, Torterra, and Scizor, all weak to fire, so she had no hope.
I think it was near or it actually was her birthday so she did a poll and chat voted to have her try the Elite 4 again which she won, since the reason she lost before was unlucky RNG mostly. After winning, she said it felt hollow and shallow and that she didn't really deserve it.
for a more explained version for those who are confused by the ending, she ended up losing her togekiss to aaron's heracross (pretty sure from a stone edge) and then her garchomp and quagsire were both killed by rhyperior crits. that left magnezone, toreterra, and scizor and next was flint so she gave up, but since it was almost her birthday, she did a poll asking her chat if she could retry and 70% said yes. that also explains giratina ripping her in 2 in the distortion world

So, you kinda have to see her stream archives of her Platinum Nuzlocke to get the full picture. She got very unlucky with the Bertha battle in the Elite Four. She did defeat Bertha, but after the battle with Bertha, she had to retry the Elite Four and then win the game, since the rest of her team had no chance against Flint. Watching the stream, it was honestly so unfortunate that she got half of her team wiped by Bertha, especially since it was pretty much based on luck that time.

The whole separate dimension thing was a reference to her stream. When she fought Bertha her Quagsire and Garchomp died but the chat told her to revive them and she did. And in the fire hallucination with Torterra, Magnezone, and Scizor is when the chat made her reluctantly revive Garchomp and Quagsire so she could stand a chance against Flint. She didn’t want to lie to us so she took liberty into including that in the video in a very creative way and she did an excellent job. I didn’t even know what was going on until I saw a commenter on the official video

Long and short of it is she fought the elite 4 on her birthday and lost. The images she sees are what actually happened the first time she fought them. Since it was her birthday, chat voted to let her try again, which is what we see happen in the video. The split timelines and her reflection at the end is her way of incorporating what happened into the video.
Jaiden plays on Rom and there’s a method to manipulate each pokemon.
You can basically change a Bidoof into Arceus if you wish. But it’s mostly used to evolve trade evolution pokemon.

Fun fact: Cynthia's Garchomp in Platinum is level 62 in the first champion battle, and level 78 in the rematch after Stark Mountain.
Since I did a Nuzlocke in Platinum, I did the "no over leveling" clause, I thought Cynthia's Garchomp was level 66 as well, but realized that I overleveled my Garchomp and Medicham by 2 (They were each level 64) so I was not able to use them.
I won, but it all came down to how many Revival Herbs and Full Restores I had. (200 of each cause I kept battling Rich Kids for like 7 hours with my Amulet Coin)
Why? At that point 2 levels is nothing

my little cousin and I like to play the pokemon games in the summer and sometimes we play nuzlocke. For some reason every time we play when he loses a pokemon he doesn't show any emotion. He could lose a pokemon he has been raising forever and not care.
I don't understand why Mystic doesn't like Torterra, out of the three Sinnoh starters it's better than Empoleon and has viability agaisnt Infernape with it's type matchup.
She actually lost in the elite four due to some crazy crits all. She was playing live and put up a poll asking if she could try the elite four again and they said yes. She considered that she already lost and didn't expect to beat Cynthia and then she did. That's what the two jaidens are about. I was confused when I saw it and ended up looking it up.
Eevee can actually evolve into Leafeon immediately after getting it, by taking it back to Eterna Forest and using a Rare Candy by the mossy rock. Too bad Leafeon isn't actually viable in gen 4 games.
