    Your wifi doesn't seem to reach your fish dungeon very well. Maybe a wifi repeater can fix the problem

    Hi L, you really did a great job with that fry rack; we all think of additional design features in hindsight :)

  • @curtisframsey

    You should buy more valves and add in the extra line to each bin. You can slowly add them over time so you would still get the benefits from it.

  • @Mbuna420
    @Mbuna420 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You should be able to still put in a second flow per container........just a thought but I think it is a great idea to add a second bottom flow....I am gonna do almost this exact setup eventually when I start my fish shed in a couple weeks lots to do though before I get to the fry rack. Thank you for sharing this, great idea!!!

    Hey Lucas what if you put a T connector for the air line coming out so you can put a longer line for the bottom current. In stead off drilling another hole.

    • @LRBaquatics
      @LRBaquatics  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have thought about it but it would be to bulky and would obstruct the path in which I get into and feed the tanks.

    I can't wait till I get the patreon notification that more aru2's are available! I love the pair I've got, they work out extremely well in my shellie's 40breeder. P.s. when do you think the crystal reds will be back up for sale?

    Great system! Would it be more cost effective if you used a venturi system with a commercial grade air pump?

    • @LRBaquatics
      @LRBaquatics  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It wouldnt be the same. When I change water in the 75 gal sump it also changes the water in the containers. Airline and splatter would get crazy over time especially if you have hard water.

    Are you concerned about the tubing plugging with algae and affecting flow at the point where the valves drip the water? When i went to black tubing it solved this problem. The light is what causes the tubing to gunk up.

    This is a nice set up but I’d use glass canning jars instead. Why because plastic leaches chemicals when heated. There’s lot of cancer showing up in fish know days why from the wheat in fish food and the plastic chemicals leaching in there tank. You could buy a diamond tip drill bit for glass jars or a glass saw to adjust jars how you like. And if you have a bar in your area they’ll normally give you gallon jars for free.

      They can be hard to obtain mostly because the people who make them is aquatic habitat which when it comes to googling it’s hard to sift through all the recommendations best to type in aquatic habitat containers and use pictures until you find something fitting. Wish I had a better link ready.
