How would I know if I got the one time account adjustment? Also I definitely need to apply for the borrowers defense forgiveness... I thought my loan was forgiven but then they changed law and told me I still owed...
Hi there! Ok, So I understand this whole income driven account adjustment almost entirely. But one thing I do not understand is I have heard that they will also be giving an additional 3 years added to your account bumping you closer to the 20 year mark, based on how many months in forbearance etc. But how MANY additional 3 years will they be giving? I was on the phone with an incredible Student Aid person a year ago that said she was under the impression you could get multiple sets of 3 years added based off of information they find. Please let me know if you know anything about this. I can find very little online but it is on the Student Aid website. Mentioned ever so slightly. Thank you!
