I remember watching this match on my tiny Akai TV at 12am in 2002, I was 11. All hopes were lost when Sachin got out. These 2 legends come in and change the game completely. There were great team moments in this match which makes it such a classic. Viru & Dada partnership, Yuvi & Kaif, Kaif & Bhajji, Kaif & Zac. Ofcourse Dada showing who's boss in Lord's balcony and Sidhu & Ravi Shastri commentary. As the mentioned, before Kohli, Rohit, and others. These guys were beacon of Indian cricket under Dada leadership who nurtured every player who made Indian cricket a force. Dhoni is amazing, one of the greats, a legend for what he has achieved. Ajeeb dastaaan True! Slip fielding is a weakness right now but it is not such a big deal in ODI/T20 cricket. Yuvraj and Kaif played mostly in ODI’s.

They both won the the under 19 cricket word cup . & then came into national team.They gave Indian cricket a high spirit for winning a match.in early days after loosing 5 , 6 wkts the match is only formality for Indian cricket team for loosing but when these 2 players ( kaif & yuvi) came in side they change the way of thinking of whole world against Indian cricket team.
