Still remember his knock in Ahmadabad qtr final against Australia. after losing Dhoni Australia was on top . Raina changed the momentum which allowed Yuvi to play freely. Yuvi got out on first ball yorker against pakistan and Raina steadied the ship and anchored the innings with tailenders which allowed India to post a better score. Looking at the interview or rather listening to it, despite what the Management did to Yuvi and especially electors, Yuvi had no bitter feelings towards his old team mates in general. Yes, he might get emotional and spew one or two words here and there, but by and large in general he always had positive things to say about all his team mates and yes Dhoni too 😌😌😌 As he said at the end: Before Dhoni always wanted to finish in style, but later became sensible and how throughout World Cup he saw Dhoni working hard and knew sooner or later a big one is coming. Touchwood, Yuvraj had absolute faith in Dhoni and he had a feeling that Dhoni should finish it in style, which he did.
Only sad thing is, just because of one bad innings in the final of 2014 WC, Yuvraj was forever forgotten and he got chances like "Khairaat", not sure about the English word though. During 2015 he scored 3/4 centuries in domestic matches and he was a player who had faced at the age of 20, the mighty Aussies and in 2007 and 2011 had played innings of his life, not one "tukkaa innings" but half a dozen such innings. So, I truly believe he should have been included in 2015 WC, def not 2019, but best chance was for 2015 WC. He would have taken us till final at the very least, guaranteed 😳😳😉😉😎😎

Raina was so talented that he outclassed so many great batsman when he was given opportunity to bat up the order in IPL and International Cricket.

Yuvraj never mentioned that there was a rivalry between Raina and him, he only replied the question. Even he didn't mentioned anything against Dhoni, he talked positive. He had respect about Sachin also,.though few.comments questioned......he frankly spoke about John Wright and Dada relations , and the efforts to keep Dada positive, Yuvi, Dada, MS, Sachin, Viru, Raina, Dravid and more are all great players and contribute a lot in that era to shape Indian cricket , and issues come even a our families where there no one is right or wrong , situations make it to think like, decide like, act like. Destiny make everyone's life. We the cricket lovers do if and buts, but we should not forget that everyone is right at his place. Well no doubt Yuvi played really well throughout the world cup but Suresh Raina too didnt get many chances and when he did he got at no 7 while he is a top order batsmen and even then he delivered 2 crucial knocks in quarter finals and semi finals
