The original "RotLD" was the best theater-going experience I've ever had. In college, drove to an out of town theater on the weekend and saw the movie poster, assuming it was another Romero zombie film. I'd never been happier to be wrong, as it was a bonkers, wild ride and the whole theater crowd was on board with it. Great memories!
I went and saw this with my brother. We both thought no way could this be as entertaining as day of the dead that came out earlier that summer. Great flick.
That movie was hilarious, the warehouse guy telling the new guy that the Army left some barrels and the had them in the basement, want to see them was best hahaha 🤣🤣🤣
For me it was the First LOTR movie, that kid when the Balrog came out in the Mines of Moria with superb surround system was unforgettable. I was there with the fellowship running from the Balrog that thrill ive felt I have never been able to replicate it once in my life.
"Taking place 18 months after the events at the UNEEDA Warehouse in Louisville, KY, a new Trioxin 2-4-5 leak puts a small Pennsylvania town on the brink of a zombie outbreak during Christmas, 1985." ----------------Looks like a direct sequel to the original!
If there isn't a bunch of punks partying in a cemetery, and a sound track to rival what may be the best horror movie soundtrack of the 80s, I'm gonna be pissed. The original was one of the, if not the best zombie movie ever made, I really hope they don't blow it like the last two films in the franchise did...
The director is a trash bottom of the barrel, redlettermedia Best of the Worst level director, I’m sure it’ll have a lot of tits but terrible acting, fx, story, dialogue, everything else…
I wasn't even born til 1999 but I saw the film about six years ago. It's cemented itself as my favorite movie of all time. It's a film I think that will always be great, even though it has that 80s flair.
My absolute favorite quote from the original is when one of the zombies got on the ambulance radio and said "Send more paramedics". Huge fan of the original and will watch this with joy.
Look like Tarman is perfecting his ways to get more brains. Npthing more effective than a Christmas tree and a couple of gifts to gather some humans. Please, let this be another good zombie movie.
Feels like a commercial from the 2000’s: subtle, tense, and creepy! I can’t wait for 2025: Karate Kid Legends, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Superman, Mortal Kombat 2, 28 Years Later, Freakier Friday, and now Return of the Living Dead!

Ah, Christmas -- that magical night when Zombie Santa leaves BRRRAAIIINSSS under the tree for every good zomboy and zomghoul. You don't want to know what he leaves for the NAUGHTY ones.
If this real and not a fan made this is awesome!!!! 👏👏👏👏🙌 I loved " RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD!" Very creepy but yet so funny as hell! " BRAAAAAINS!" 😝👍
Here’s an idea for a ROTLD movie….”Return of the (Bill Munns) Living Dead” Where it’s ROTLD but with only visual effects by Bill Munns such as the original headless zombie he made that literally looked like an executive office chair with legs.
@@ECOTecJeff83Even against regular zombies that is a list of terrible weapons. Guns require ammo and you're hoping you can find some more after you run out. Plus the noise will no doubt bring more undead down on you. Bladed weapons have a tendency to get caught in things and while you're standing there trying to wrench it free of the skull more zombies are swarming on you, and that's assuming you actually destroyed enough of the brain of the one you attacked to stop it and it's not still trying to get at you. No, good old reliable crowbar. That'd be your go to. Silent, can do a lot of damage, and it's a damn useful tool if you need to pry a door or bust a lock.
I don't know this doesn't look as scary. The Tarman Zombie moved in such a way in the first movie is was unnatural and unnerving. They know what fans want but this movie already looks like it needs more brains.
If you're going to set it in 1985 then film it in the style of movies from 1985. Get someone who was an actual adult then, lived through the styles then, had an outlook of THEN instead of a wanky Hollywood director from NOW. It won't work.
Ah, a good trailer. Finally. See, most trailers tend to show way too much of the movie these days. You know the ones I'm talking about, you watch the trailer and it's got almost all the good and interesting scenes from the movie in it. When you actually watch the movie it's often very disappointing because there's nothing interesting in the film that you didn't already see in the trailer. All the good scenes were ruined by the trailer. Luckily this trailer doesn't do that at all. It sets the tone perfectly and doesn't give away a single thing that you don't already know from the title of the movie. This is how most trailers should be. Kudos to the folks who worked on this, and to whoever gave it the green light. The trailer for The Gorge is another one I saw recently that didn't give away too much. I hope this trend continues.
Can’t wait for ROTLD. So basically it’s a direct sequel to the original and ignoring the other sequels . I hope this new director does justice and keep it Dan O’ Bannon style

What is the movie all abt?
Like you, I saw the original ROTL in the theater, and had a blast. So much better than it had any right to be.
28 years later and now this, merry Christmas everyone ❤
Me too
🙆💪🤸
And An UNDEAD new Year!
HELL YEAH!! 🤘😝🤘
More like 38 years, dude.

We technically already got one in the form of a graphic novel.
@ I’ll check that out.
Maybe this can right the wrongs of basically all of the RotLD sequels lol

It'll be terrible. Curb your enthusiasm already, remakes are a bad combo - too much producer control to be faithful, too little originality

@@tobyb1018 So, there's a chance it'll be awesome in the worst ways? Here's hoping.
Well, its not a remake. It takes place in PA, few months after the events in Kentucky.
Bro just wants to have a traditional Christmas. That's one helluva long extension cord.

Tarman! Welcome back, old friend!
It looked like liked somebody in a wetsuit it will always only be 1 I hate it already
"Send more paramedics, send more cops..."
BRAINS!!!!!!
DO YOU WANNA PARTY?!!!
IT'S PARTY TIME!!!!!

Rabid weasels.
It's not a bad question Bert
Saw the original in the theater at 15 yo. Tripping on mescaline down on Cape Cod. A Good day indeed.

Return of the Living Dead was one of the first horror movies I ever saw as a kid.
The remake seems to be lacking punks.
and a killer soundtrack.
I saw the original on Prime Video
I still have the tape why is it snowing it was Christmas but it was subtle like Die Hard they gone fuck it up
I hate when they drop a trailer for a anticipated movie and you have to way a year
Holy moly! Send more Christmas decorations!
LMAO!! Yes! 🎄
Poor Tarman just wants to have a good Christmas and he can’t even keep the tree lights on…😥
Looking forward to this!😁😁
I love when Hollywood goes to muck they all fall back on the zombie genre
And it's not even original ip.. smh
Saw Night of the Living Dead decades ago. I was just a kid. It messed me up! Been a fan of Zombie flicks ever since.😊😊😊
Seen em all! Keep em coming!!❤

Dang!. He's back Tarman😮
Nowadays they drop trailers 1 to 3 years from now like tommorow is promised 🤦♂️😂
Bingo!
Lol
Send more Santa's 🧟
🎶its time to PAAAAR-TAAAY

Easter is a more appropriate holiday for a zombie film.
I disagree as a Christmas zombie movie makes it more bleak because it's a supposed time to be merry
I see what you did there😂😂

Christmas Trees make the pain go away
Love the original movie definitely an unexpected classic 🙌🏻
BE A MAN FRANK! here we go again 💀
The one thing I forgot about the original movie was the fact that Brian Peck was in it
It's nice to see Tarman getting into the Christmas spirit.
TROTLD GAVE ME NIGHTMARES UNTIL I WAS IN HIGHSCHOOL
Why do you eat people?
Not people. Brains.
Brains only? Why?
The paaaaaiiiin!
What about the pain?
The pain of being dead.
Why that dialogue didn’t win the film an Oscar is still a mystery to me!
“Brains take away paaaain!”
That movie still scares me to this day saw it when I was a kid and im 41 now but i still watch it all the time to this day
This is the horror comedy right? My dad loved this movie he thought the part where the zombies says "send more cops" was hilarious

I'm so fucking excited, Tarman scared the living hell out of me as a kid.
Especially when he was hooking the chain up to the locker door that ol girl was hiding in. The part where you could here Tarman breathing!
" I forgive you darlin' and I know you're here, because I can smell your brains."
Director has a sad resume. I don’t expect anything good

2.8 on IMDB, calling it.
