  • The battle to review President Cyril Ramaphosa's decision to sign on and assent to the National Health Insurance Act is heating up.
This is as parties have filed their Heads of Arguments in the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria to answer questions of law in the matter before it can be adjudicated on the merits.
The applicant in the matter, the Board of Healthcare Funders, insists that the decision is reviewable and the President is obliged to furnish the record, despite the President's contention that the High Court lacks jurisdiction.
SABC News Senior Reporter Canny Maphanga filed this report.

NHI is reckless and irresponsible, the way of the Arrogant National Congress.
