although your thumb cover the right bottom corner of the label tag when you made the thread go under, but i think it would look neater if you have knotted and cut the thread, instead of having the thread travel to the left top corner.
This was SO incredibly helpful. I just tried sewing on a label & I'm going to re-do it bc yours looks much neater than mine. It never occurred to me to do it like this before. Again, ty.
Thank you so much, Judy. You have been of terrific help in every area. For me, this is the cherry on top! I knit for my friends and I have had "Lovingly made by..." labels forever, but have not known what to do with them. Thank you. Oh, and thank you.

I make a knot in the thread before I start sewing.

I got my labels years ago. Look on line. I'm sure you'll find a place that suits your needs.

Do you use the sewing machine to sew labels into knits?
What material is that tag made of ?

Hello, I was wondering if this could be done by machine
It could, but it would show on the outside of the garment. This way it doesn't.
Did you find a place? There are lots of places on the net. Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. Please like me on my facebook page.
