Nice work! I like to see older but still usable hardware get a new lease on life. Not everyone has a blank check for a gaming rig. It's a perfect stater system with an upgrade path. 🙂
I did mention it was not necessary, cleaning it out would have been fine, but I had a spare lying around so I just went ahead and swapped it. Made it smaller and lighter as well😁
Great Restoration! I love ASUS motherboards, I've had excelent experience with them and now trust the brand. I always max out the memory. so its futureproffed and if the CPU is upgradeable, do that as well.... I always save old chassis and other parts for future builds.... good luck with your future builds...
Could definitely benefit from one or two fans in the case as I can feel it heating up when gaming for a while but the parts use so little power they don’t reach the point when they thermal throttle
If you peal sticker of that blue than that office case isn't that bad, And if you spraypaint the metal parts in the silkglow black of the frontpanel you may have someting nic. Or maybe even try matching the red wish is a more dufficult task.
Like I mentioned in the video it’s optional and in this video I it changed because I had an old case lying around. So no charge😁. Also maybe I didn’t show it well on video but parts of the old case were quite dented
Another note, recorded this a long time before upload cause i usually leave videos in my folders for months before getting around to editing and uploading them
Hmm you sure bout that? Cause I actually used that with a 6th gen i5 for quite a while before putting it into this project. And the FPS i get is about the same. Also tested with a 4th gen i5 getting the same results
@@fasttutorials2419 yes he is correct the 1050ti will bottleneck up to a i5 6500 ...i have the msi oc 1050ti is a very good card and is very predictable aswell

Terbaiklah, Bang 😆👍
Great work! I did like the old case, though.
Nice! I like to see videos like that, as if it were a restoration and improvement.

Thats a great machine to get for free , i got some phenom and other older lga 775 components , :)
Good afternoon... I don't understand why you change the case. It seems fine to me...
Greetings and cheerings from Venezuela!!!

Why replace the case? The original was attractive and pretty sweet. I'd have stuck with that and saved a little cash.

Where in the used market did you find that GPU?
Pre-global chip shortage market. I know the market sucks now, can’t even get a 750ti for 400 anymore

What PC case is this?
Tecware F3. Don’t think they make it anymore. These days it’s all rgb and tempered glass
that shitty i3 is bottlenecking the 1050ti hard af that 1050ti is good enough for 300fps in cs go at low 1080p
