  • Revolutionize Your Plant Care with RainPoint Smart Solar Irrigation System
Welcome to mychannel, where I bring you the latest and greatest in houseplant care and innovation! Today, I'm thrilled to share my experience with the RainPoint Smart Solar Irrigation System, a game-changer for every plant enthusiast out there. Whether you're a seasoned plant parent or just starting your journey, RainPoint's smart system promises to make plant care effortless, eco-friendly, and more enjoyable than ever.
    🌱 Why RainPoint?
RainPoint sent me their Smart Solar Irrigation System, and it's been an absolute revelation. I've been on the lookout for a smart, hassle-free way to keep my plants hydrated, especially during my travels to Greece or when I'm away on holiday. The majority of automatic irrigation systems I've encountered were designed for outdoor gardens and required a tap connection. Not RainPoint! This fully smart system can operate from any water vessel, offering unparalleled flexibility for indoor plant enthusiasts like us.
🔌 Dual Charging: Solar Power & USB
One of the standout features of the RainPoint system is its dual charging capabilities. It comes with a tiltable solar panel, allowing for full flexibility in harnessing solar energy. And for those cloudy days or indoor setups, it also supports charging via a USB-C cable. This ensures your plants are always taken care of, regardless of the weather outside.
    📱 Seamless App Integration
Setting up the RainPoint system was a breeze, thanks to its user-friendly app. Even if you're not tech-savvy, you'll find the process straightforward and hassle-free. The app allows you to schedule your watering plan effortlessly, ensuring your plants receive just the right amount of water at the right time.
    💧 Efficient Watering
I was amazed at how easy it was to connect all the components and how efficiently the system dispensed water. It's evident that RainPoint has put a lot of thought into designing a system that's not only smart but also effective in keeping your plants healthy and hydrated.

Adding an automatic water shut-off valve from the water source to the bucket would be great, it works like the one in our toilet water reservoir👍

very interesting, I wanted to look into a irrigation system to set it up for my mosspoles when i´m on vacation. Right now I only have one big mosspole with an adinsonii and I always cover it in clear plastic. But I just put 4 more plants on small poles, and I don´t know if all of them will appreciate the plastic cover. For example my glorius will have bigger leaves and longer petioles than my adinsonii I assume, right now it´s just a baby but I hope for a good growing season.

It sounds like you've got a fascinating setup with your mosspoles! The irrigation system might be a perfect solution for your varied plants. Let's hope for a thriving growing season for your glorious and the others! 🌿🌱

I love this! question .. for the ten plants you have set up I would assume they would all need the same watering needs and similar pot size I am assuming , so for different needs pot sizes would need another system?

Or trying different variants of drip buttons like 2/4/8 liter per hour drippers or the ones with control knobs (faucet like)in my opinion might do the trick, less device but extra tweaking required though... 🤔

I wonder how does the filter work with liquid fertiliser, will the extra stuff eventually gunk up the pipes?

I've thought about getting something similar in the past. Do the individual water spikes dispense about the same amount of water?
I half suspected the first one would dispense the most with the last one in line the least...

    • @Houseplantygoodness
      @Houseplantygoodness  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Great question, Paul! I've noticed the water distribution is pretty even among the spikes. I'll pay closer attention and share more detailed observations in my follow-up. 🚿💧
