Awesome info! Any details on the "Intake manifold leakage arms"? Im not sure if i heard that correctly. Any solution for the variable valve timing issue? Any issues with the timing chain guides? Are they plastic as well? Thanks!
The Audi V8 (D11) was not entirely independent from the C3 (100, 200 & 5000) platform but was a heavily reworked version of it! The V8 problems you are describing are not related to the V8 D11 whatsoever, those are newer generation FSI problems.. The 3.6 (PT) & 4.2 (ABH) are belt driven engines!!

Did VW own Audi at this point? Interesting to hear the 3.6 was two golf GTI engines put together
