A Short EVENING RIDE In The Country & The City

- It's always a nice surprise when the forecast is wrong and it's in your favor! May 1st was supposed to be overcast and rainy so I wasn't expecting to be able to go out anywhere, but the rain missed us and I was able to get out for a couple of short rides that day.
I saw that the sun was about to break through the clouds and decided to record my ride while I was out. It's a typical route that I like to do in the spring to help me build up endurance to do the longer trail rides. I try to get out when I can on little rides like these because it all adds up. While I was out, I decided to hit up the section of the Brock Trail that I didn't ride on earlier this year to see an abandoned section of the former B&W Railway and to see where the old B&W station once stood.
Nice ride . Stay safe .
Thanks! 👍
Your making me anxious for the cooler weather. I'm from Kingston and Gananoque was part of our weekly ritual. How I miss those parts. I am now in the Toronto area, for the last 30 years and am itching to get out. I'm going cycling in Montreal starting tomorrow in hopes I can find a spark of reasoning why it's time to leave TO now!!! I'll probably take #2 once I get out my region so I can reminisce and drive through all the small towns I miss so much on the way to Montreal. Loving all your videos!
Thank you! Have a great trip in Montreal and enjoy the scenic route along Highway 2 if you decide to go that way!
@@SpokesAndScenery Thank you! Oh by the way I know it's called Mavericks now ( in GAN) but we use to drive up with a few buddies in our circle from KCVI and go play pool and have a few. This would be back in 1984-1985. Don't remember the name of the place then but maybe you could refresh my memory.
