I was converted by the First Vision when 16. I was Presbyterian, prayed, believed that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ were two beings, father and son. First vision was 2nd discussion and I felt it was true. Elders asked me to pray about and encouraged me how to pray. They said to show gratitude for my blessings, repent, and then tell God i believed it and ask for confirmation. I received my answer immediately and it was astonishing. I called them in morn and told them I wanted to be baptized. My parents supported my decision. I am now 77 and have never had a doubt. Work in the temple.

God is there to anyone looking for his truth. Though none close to the truth the Church had, without the witness of the Holy Ghost no one got to know it. Testimony so important.

      Beautiful testimony!
My choir just filmed this video in Palmyra on the back side of the Sacred Grove, so I thought I'd share since I can tell the First Vision means a lot to you. It's a special arrangement of Joseph Smith's First Prayer that takes you on a musical journey through his entire experience. I think it's so powerful!❤

i am converted over and over every time I bear testimony of Joseph Smith having been visited by God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. This event never gets old. It’s a spirit-grabber. And then I have my own Jesus experience wherein He loves me so much, unspeakable, I need him. I have Him. The best part of bearing testimony is that the Angels in heaven are recording it and are rejoicing and my sins are forgiven. By repetition I can say that I know scientifically that God is real and forgiveness through the Savior is real. It is scientific because there is a repeatable method always with the same result.

No, they were not. Russell M Nelson is Skull and Bones Owl and Key Bonesman, communist led United Nations lackey. He mentions his involvement in Skull and Bones Owl and Key in his own autobiography. And the millions each year that they give to the communist led United Nations and this year, they gave the greatest Satanical threat to freedom peace and the spread of God's work $1.3 billion dollars plus another few million dollars to them. All they are doing is aiding and abetting the enemies of liberty so the beast, the UN, has power over every nation, kindred, tongue and people! No one is forced to do anything. But of course Mr Skull and Bonesman anti-Christ warned you that you would die spiritually without the guiding directing comforting and constant influence of the Holy Ghost April 1st, 2018. So he's alright, he warned you as all good followers of Satan do.

I work for a railroad company and we were given a deadline of January. I can’t remember the exact year to get the vaccine. We were also given a I think it was $800. If we got the vaccine they put out a survey of how many people were going to get the vaccine or risk losing their job because it was it was a federal law that Biden put in, and the railroads were freaking out about how many people were not going to get the vaccine because a lot of people did not want it. they said they weren’t gonna fire us, but we’re gonna put us on a board that didn’t work and that they would train us or give us additional information before they would take the ultimate step of probably firing we we will never know because the law got dropped two weeks before the deadline. I had mine scheduled because I couldn’t risk it with my I have a heart transplant daughter, and so I need insurance so I was scheduled to do it the last minute and two weeks before the deadline they dropped the law requiring federal contractors, which include the railroads to have the vaccination. Those union meetings were some of the meetings I’ve ever been at because grown men were crying about losing their 20-30 year career over a vaccine that no one wanted.
This is how ridiculous the doctors were, though. My daughters heart doctor told her not to get the vaccine because they have no idea how it will react with heart transplants and told us the same thing. My doctor grilled me for not getting the vaccine without knowing anything else so the communication gap was so big between the medical field and it really Showed the sheep from the people that are actually trying to be a doctor

In January 2022, I (and many others) received an invitation to the J. Reuben Clark Law School annual fireside with this bullet point heading the list of “notes” for attendees: “Masks are required; attendees must be vaccinated.”
This is just one instance of the spirit of coercion that many experienced and that some succumbed to in order to participate in Church and college / university events. Is our memory so short that we don’t remember other exclusions and condemnations of the un-vaccinated for failing to love their neighbors? That the JRCLS would be complicit in this spirit of coercion was beyond disappointing.

To attend a BYU football game and other sports you have to show proof of vaccination. If you worked at that MTC in Provo without the gene therapy you were nicely asked to resign. MoTab also require the JaB, they even did a medical case study on them with their information consent or knowledge. Henry J Eyring said at a BYU devotional you weren’t valiant if you didn’t get it….. and the list goes on.

All members of the Tabernacle choir were forced to take it if they wanted to stay a member of the choir. Missionaries were coerced to take it if they were serving out of the country. And those serving here in the U.S. were definitely pressured.
So many members who received the very strong answer from the spirit to NOT take the shot were accused of being less spiritual for not following the prophet. The church requiring masks was horrid. As a preschool teacher of 20 years seeing the little ones at church with the face muzzles on was disturbing to me.
I truly worry that the church will never stand up to government but will always be soft and just go along.
The only thing that brings peace to my heart is that so many were awakened during that whole nightmare and now see more clearly that our leaders are not perfect and are turning more fully to the Lord and relying on Him for guidance. It is nice to not feel so alone when you hear of others who have awakened.

Excellent conversation! Yes the flights were delayed and cancelled because the flight crews got sick. Pilots died or had career destroying adverse reactions: they can no longer pass their flight physicals. My husband just retired from flying in Jan. We didn't get the vax. The govt tried to force the pilots to comply. He, along with most pilots in his company were ready to walk. It literally came down to one week and the govt backed off. There is still a shortage of pilots. It will take years to recover. We had ward members die. We had members leave the church. My relationship is with God. Pres Nelson tried to warn us to rely on the Spirit. We did. But it wasn't a comfortable situation with the pressure from some ward members! Shame on THEM for what they did to those of us who listened to the first directive the prophet gave us "HEAR HIM". He didn't say "hear me."

In our family we did not take the snake bite. There was quite a bit of contention in our ward over the C word, and our bishop had to tell everyone to mind their own business. We have two boys that both became autistic the SAME day they got their childhood V’s. I was in the military and long story short, I will never let another needle touch my body. We used the evidence before us to gather information. We prayed to know if the decision we made was wrong and we didn’t feel anything in the contrary. Fast forward a few months after the V came out I was having self doubt - maybe I was wrong. I think if we don’t question we aren’t open to learn. So I was questioning it and I thought maybe it wouldn’t hurt to get it just in case. I didn’t talk to anyone about it but God knew my struggle. I had a dream which I will not share here but I have shared with some people. That dream taught me that I know when the Spirit speaks to me and that I must never doubt Him! We know what we know and we must not let man discourage us.

Just jumping in to correct a few inaccuracies in your post. Mike Leavitt is actually the CURRENT president of the Tabernacle Choir. The First Presidency called him to that position in the summer of 2021. At the time they wanted the choir to start coming back to do live performances once more, but apparently the First Presidency wasn't satisfied with then-president Ron Jarrett's way of doing it, because they released him as choir president and called Mike Leavitt instead.
Mike Leavitt quickly implemented a "Swiss cheese" protection plan that involved mandatory vaccination, contact tracing, and testing before every rehearsal.
This is well documented on the Deseret News stories from 2021 - go back and read those again.
My conclusion is that the First Presidency clearly wanted mandatory vaccination in the choir - that's precisely why they called Mike Leavitt to that position.

@@saa8488 Who says he can't see, or prophesy or reveal direction from God?! We have MUCH evidence to the contrary! Our counsel from President Nelson several years ago (before the pandemic) was to make receiving personal revelation a priority and that it would be necessary for our spiritual survival. We have not been asked to blindly follow the prophet's counsel on church policy. Remember, this was a policy decision, not a doctrinal one--though many people struggled to see the difference.
We each need to be spiritually prepared to receive and follow personal revelation from God. We do not let the prophet, or anyone else do that for us. We must not abdicate our responsibility for our own spiritual welfare.
Additionally, in the New Testament, we have promises that if bitten by a poisonous snake it cannot harm us. Of course, if it is our time to go and there is more important work for us to do on the other side of the veil, then we may be called home.
The church was likely backed into a corner. The most important work going on is the gathering of Israel on both sides of the veil. That means temples must stay open and missionaries must be able to serve. Government was requiring vax in order for this to happen and thus, the message needed to be in line with the Gov't. Who knows what else could have happened to the church? It's like when President Woodruff issued the Manifesto. Neither option was ideal, but shown what would happen, he chose that which would allow the church to survive for the salvation of man and more important battles. So it may be that President Nelson saw the outcome if we fought against the vaccine and that was worse.
      Exercise your faith!

Since this is the Church of Jesus Christ restored and lead by His prophet I do not elevate the Savior at the expense of His called prophet by assuming he made a huge mistake as evidenced by the serious repercussions of the jab. I did my due diligence and did not get the shot but wholeheartedly consider Pres. Nelson a man of God and do not ascribe to the theory he made a mistake. I believe He was acting under His direction and that WE are being tested even as Abraham was tested. The test is not, in my opinion, whether we got the shot or not but how we handled this trial.

@perryrush5378 I prayed and asked Heavenly Father why the Brethren made some of the choices they did and the Spirit told me that all of God's children are allowed to use their agency and all will make mistakes because that is part of our experiences here on earth. He allows this, even from His servants. Joseph Smith made mistakes. Prophets in the scriptures made mistakes. They are human. We should follow Jesus Christ. The prophet does not always speak and act as a prophet. The Spirit can help us discern truth from error.

That letter was so well worded. Words matter, grammar matters. If members did not do their due diligence and study it in their hearts and minds... and if they put the opinion of other family, friends and church members above the spiritual communications they may have been receiving, that is all on their head. As for the answer given by Elder Renlund - that it "seemeth good to the Holy Ghost" - you may want to listen to the rest of his answer on that topic. There was differing views on the topic with the Brethren.... the letter was what the Lord told them to send out and it gave enough room for both choices - take Amlici poy-son or get v'd in other ways that were healthy. His conversion is similar to mine except when I was 14 years old, I felt like I had lived before I was born but couldn't explain why. I didn't know of any Christian churches that taught that so instead I thought "well, maybe I was reincarnated". Fast forward to age 25, I was driving to work and wondering and talking to God and saying "is this all there is to life, you wake up, get a piece of paper (diploma), get a job and die? There must be more". Two weeks later I met the missionaries at my work, later they came to teach me, asked me to read the Book of Mormon, I read every assignment they asked me to. When they shared the Plan of Salvation and the pre-mortal existence, I flipped out and then a young man who was on splits with them asked me to read Alma 32, I read it and was baptized within a couple of days. Back then it took about 6 weeks to finish the lessons I finished mine in 4 weeks and was baptized, I even bore my testimony before I was baptized. When you know it's true, you know it's true. I've been a member for 46 years now. My husband and I also felt that the reason the 1st presidency was "urging" people to get the jab was because they were being pressured by outside forces and so that missionary could continue to go forward around the world. Thanks for this discussion guys. My wife and I are active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and did not get the covid vax. The church is very active throughout the world in the vaccine giving arena. In fact the church has millions of dollars invested in the vaccine industry. But we were definitely shaken to the core when Russell M Nelson urged the saints to get vaccinated.
From Primary onward we sing the song 'Follow the Prophet'. We are told he will never lead us astray. So being indoctrinated with this idea our whole lives was shaken when this covid thing came around. During the 2019-2024 period we have done a tremendous amount of research into vaccines, It is now obvious that some of the Brethren from the highest levels to the least made a big mistake over this. We have been woken up. Each of us have sole responsibility for our own salvation/exaltation, not the Prophet. There are many followers in this world all wanting someone else to tell them what to do. I guess I am a rebel.
I worked for the church in the corporate side for many years and while there are many great and righteous people in it, there are also wicked unlearned people, that work there way up the corporate ladder who should not be there. It was through this experience I did a deep dive into the field of Freedom and what it means and the responsibility that requires. I left church employment because of the evil controls that was placed on us.
We also experience segregation at church due to being unvaccinated. Separate sacrament meetings were held. Right or wrong we did not attend these meetings. We had our own church at home. This segregation was also a freedom issue for us.
This has been a monumental experience for us. Our testimonies are still strong and have come to learn that all of us are mortal, we make mistakes, When a prophet makes a mistake it will probably be a wopper. Don't worry, get over it, Focus on Christ, use the Holy Ghost's advice and you wont be lead astray.

Then he told me that he was a member of the Mormon Church, I had never heard of it, other than one time back in the very early 1970's I was looking for a place to TURN around at, and I pulled in, and as I started to turn the vehicle around, it was pointing DIRECTLY at the FRONT DOORS OF THE CHURCH, where see, "THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS!!!!!!!!! The thought took me right back to my childhood experience outside of a very small Eastern Oregon Lumber camp 50 miles up in the BLUE MOUNTAINS. I was just turned 8 years old, and had an experience with Jesus and God (Heavenly Father) and I told them that it was just NOT FAIR that we in our day did not have a church with a living prophet and 12 apostles??????????? This TURN AROUND event, as the next step in finding that church, but, the night I met Curtis Peterson of Brigham City...he was working in that area for a few months, I quickly told him to come with me that we have to get to a private place and he had to tell me everything he knows about his church......as he had told me that his church as a living prophet and 12 living apostles.....with 2 counselors associated with the prophet.......short story is that we continued our relationship and a few months later, he had been sent to Ventura California on another construction job, and with a few days, I went to the city library and looked up Brigham Young, and the book that I had picked up, was making fun of Brigham and his many wives....it disgusted me to the point, that something told me inside that I had to find the truth of this church.faith and decided to get the phone book out at our apartment, and search it till I found a phone number, and I did, and immediately called the Mission Home in Ventura, and they sent missionaries out to my apartment the next day...I told them that I will listen to every missionary lesson, but first they had to tell/show me what Ezekiel and Isaiah meant about the 2 books that are joined together, and about what the VOICE THAT WILL SPEAK FROM THE DUST..........one of the elders was from Preston Idaho, is now a retired doctor. The other elder was from Pendleton, Oregon, and we knew some of the same business people in Pendleton, he had been a teen alcoholic, and some lds classmates invite him to go to MUTUAL with them, he did and was quickly baptized, as soon as he was ready, quit drinking immediately, and was called out on a mission just a few months before I met them in Ventura, CA. The missionaries, told me what they meant, and I did all the lessons in that first week, and was in church every Sunday after that, PLUS here I want to say something.... I had spent over 5 years going to all the different mainstream Christian churches, and made meetings with the Minister, etc...and I only had those 2 question for them, each one told me that I was going into areas that WE ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DELVE INTO that being the Mysteries of GOD??????????????????????? I would get up and tell them I appreciated their time, but that I was not asking the wrong questions, the last appt I had was with a Southern Baptist minister, and he got so angry with me and was actually ranting and raving, I LEFT HIS OFFICE immediately. I share this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The year prior, I had that H2N3 contagious respiratory infection, for 5 week, and 4 days, so sick I could barely get around to take care of myself and my 2 indoor only kitty kids........it hit me like a loco motive about 10 minutes prior to midnight on NEW YEARS EVE, and on Feb 4 on that morning as I woke ,and got out of bed, I was like it had never been in my body, one day I will understand, why, it had all happened........I had went to the urgent care, with dozens of sick people in it, on that 4th day after it hit me, and I was told that there was not ANY MEDICATION AVAILABLE to take for that infection....that my own body would have to deal with it........there was nothing to take, Heavenly Father was with me in that situation from start to end, Then Covid came actually in late 2019 they say now, but was not being noticed until that first case up in Seattle area.....I was living in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. So I am conditioned for long term ISOLATION, to deal with what ever will come our way in the future.

I personally think that the JaB prepared us for what’s to come as we might be forced to do things or choose the Lord or satan’s influences. As we choose to pray and follow the lord and keep covenants as the second coming draws closer we will be protected. I felt the protection I needed when I was told by the spirit to not to get VaXed and as long as I stay strong and in tune with the spirit I can be strong enough to say no to the adversary and be protected from what’s to come.

They were not wrong. Is it possible you were wrong in your interpretation? Did you pray about it to receive your own revelation to confirm?
Our counsel from President Nelson several years ago (before the pandemic) was to make receiving personal revelation a priority and that it would be necessary for our spiritual survival. We have not been asked to blindly follow the prophet's counsel on church policy. Remember, this was a policy decision, not a doctrinal one--though many people struggled to see the difference.
We each need to be spiritually prepared to receive and follow personal revelation from God. We do not let the prophet, or anyone else do that for us. We must not abdicate our responsibility for our own spiritual welfare.
Be careful how you judge! Exercise your faith.

But risking not having insurance and paying the bills was not a good situation to be in. My contracting company put out their own deadline to get it or be let go. I waited until the last day hoping it would go away but it didn’t. I got the one and done shot (Johnson n Johnson) which I hated. The next month it was dropped and contractors didn’t have to get it anymore. It pissed me off. It concerned me about the church pushing for the jab. But I quickly got over it. Whether the Lord let Pres Nelson act on his own about this or if the church was pressured, it did not matter. I prayed about it many times and got the feeling and thought that the Lord has reasons for everything and to just have faith in His plans and follow the His kingdom here on earth. Trevor's sister asked, Don't you think that instead of saying "get vaccinated", the prophet should've said to "pray to see if we should get vaccinated"? Well basically he DID say that! There were three different times in 2021 that the First Presidency urged members of the Church to get vaccinated. The first two times (Jan 19th and April 23rd), the First Presidency clearly stated that "Individuals are responsible to make their own decisions about vaccination"! The third time (Aug 12th) they didn't mention that. But that exclusion didn't render their previous counsel null and void! So any member who rushed out to get vaccinated against their own will, good judgement, and/or inspiration from God did so ignorant of the Church's vaccination policy and the First Presidency's own counsel which was given TWICE the same year as the controversial Aug 12th counsel! So if any members of the Church lost faith over this issue then I suspect they were uninformed of the previous counsel and the Church's vaccination policy - or they didn't value the gospel of Jesus Christ enough long before Covid ever came along. Who knows, maybe the Church has to conform to some political guidelines and maybe that's exactly why Pres. Nelson said in 2018: "in coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Spirit".

    • @ZionMedia_
      @ZionMedia_  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +6

“Individuals are responsible to make their own decisions about vaccination.” isn’t the same as “individuals should pray and seek the guidance of the spirit regarding their personal decision to get vaccinated.”
Statements in the same press releases such as:
“Now, COVID-19 vaccines that many have worked, prayed, and fasted for are being developed”
“the Church urges its members, employees and missionaries to be good global citizens and help quell the pandemic by safeguarding themselves and others through immunization”
“We urge members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to protect their own children through immunization,”
“We’re very hopeful that the general vaccination of the population will help us get ahead of this awful pandemic. It’s hopeful, like the light at the end of the tunnel”
“In word and deed, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has supported vaccinations for generations”
“We know that protection from the diseases they cause can only be achieved by immunizing a very high percentage of the population”
“we urge individuals to be vaccinated. Available vaccines have proven to be both safe and effective.”
“We have prayed often for this literal godsend,”
Let’s not gaslight the issue by trying to pretend they did anything but push and recommend to get vaccinated. There isn’t a single reference to “pray about it”. Not one. Then if you want to get into the social media tour promoting it that’s even worse and again no pray about it mentioned.
In this podcast We gave them grace and a most likely scenario for what happened here. But don’t cloud the issue with things that didn’t happen.

@@ZionMedia_ You completely missed my point. First of all, I said the First Presidency "basically" said to pray about getting vaccinated because by telling us that we are responsible to make our own vaccination decision, it seems rather obviously implied that they would want us to incorporate prayer in making that decision. But whether they said to pray about it or not is completely beside the point! The point is, 2 out of 3 times in 2021 the First Presidency gave us all obvious counsel to make our own vaccination decisions! They gave us the obvious option to NOT "follow the prophet" on this issue if we didn't feel good about it! And if people would have been aware of that (and/or the Church's vaccination policy in the handbook) then, like me, they would have felt zero "obedient pressure" to get vaccinated. But unfortunately, many people only saw the Aug 2021 counsel and felt compelled to comply beyond their own will and best judgment. I will admit that I found the counsel to get vaccinated very strange and I don't know why they didn't include the "opt-out-option" in their Aug 2021 counsel like they had done previously. But based on the fact that they DID provide the "opt-out-option" twice earlier in the year - and they didn't retract it in Aug 2021 - no one should have felt obediently compelled beyond their will and good judgment to take the Covid vaccine. That's my point.

If the Church had been forced to get vaccinated and then the leaders forced the members to get vaccinated. They are wrong. Their actions are unjust and unconstitutional.
The Church should have reported the leaders of the CDC and bring law suit against them for HEPA violations and unconstitutional conduct.
In 2021 my Dad and I was diagnosed with COVID-19 Delta Variant and double pneumonia. Sadly my Dad didn't make it.
After I was released from the hospital on several occasions a couple of my brothers had verbally attacked me, saying:
"If you and Dad had gotten vaccinated, you and Dad wouldn't have been hospitalized and Dad would still be with us today."
In defense of my actions I told them:
"There's no way any of us could know that."
Dad was allergic to the vaccine and nobody would tell him what was in it.
All they had told him was the COVID-19 vaccine is similar to the flu shot and the pneumonia vaccine.
For this reasoning my Dad said I can't have it because I'm allergic to it.
Years before COVID my Dad had taken the flu shot and had received the pneumonia vaccine. Both times he was hospitalized for severe allergic reactions to these medical treatments.
My brothers weren't there when it happened because they weren't born yet, or they were too young to remember.
My Dad didn't want the vaccine because he wanted to stick around as long as he could for his family.
But my brothers weren't done yet.
"Aren't you supposed to follow your prophet blindly without questioning their word?"
    Actually no.
Last I checked they DO want us to question what they teach us. They want us to take their words to the Lord, and ask if what they are teaching are not true.
    So I did.
The Lord told me don't get vaccinated at this time.
Last I checked God's word comes first.
Although bad things have happened, I have a clear conscience about my actions. Because I had brought my concerns to the Lord, He comforted me with His counsel; and my guilt was swept away.

Word for word what I've been saying for years.. wow.. great interview.. These were hard time.. but JUST before the 'jab' was brought forth, our counsel from our prophet was as follows (not a perfect quoter)... "Learn to heard the voice of the Lord.. it way very well save your life". That was by our prophet. When the counsel to get the jab was given.. I went to the Lord in Prayer.. I received my counsel.. I did not get the 'Jab'.. everyone else did.. when I asked by others why I had not gotten the jab, I would ask them if they had prayed about it. They always said.."the prophet said to , so I got the jab".. I would respond with the quote above that the prophet also asked us the hear the voice of the Lord and that it could very well save our lives. The response would be, that they would just shrug their shoulders and walk away. We must learn to know the Lord personally. and counsel with Him directly. Always counsel with the Lord directly.. Lehi did! and he was lead away from Jerusalem..

But I felt almost as strongly about vaccines because I had prayed about that issue as well and got my answers. So if I was fooled about this was I fooled about the other as well? I got over that quite quickly because I had lived 'the LDS way' all this time and that can't be undone that easily. Of course I tried to figure out the why. Not particularly successfully. But at the end of the day there is just too much evidence for the reality of God and no other church has as many answers as this one. And of course there is the Book of Mormon ...

The question is: Are you willing to give your life for The Lord? Are we not suppose to give everything we have to the Lord, even our whole life? If we die from taking the vaccine, we die for being obedient. Will we not get blessed beyond all measure for doing so? Don't we have missionaries who are sent out into countries that are more dangerous than the United States? Isn't there a small few who are killed, while serving there? Is The Church no longer true because of that? There was an important reason why the Prophet asked us to get the vaccine, at the time, because it wasn't him asking, it was the Lord. Do we not have enough faith to believe that The Savior can protect us for being obedient? You may also remember that the Prophet never said that we should take the boosters. Members do not remember how hard the U.S. Government came down on the in past years, to the point of taking away our buildings, and lands, and putting many of our leaders in prison. The Prophet can see around corners, and prevent many calamities from coming down on The Church, which would hinder the work from going forward. If my taking of the shot caused, or will cause, me to die, but would allow The Church to bring salvation to thousands, or hundreds of thousands, I will have great joy in the Spirit World. Please put things in perspective.

A point not made was the fact that the Lord has said, "My people must be tried in all things that they may be prepared to receive the glory I have for them." Also, we will be tried even as Abraham was tried. How do we know the prophet was not doing as the Lord commanded him, regardless of his personal feelings, so that His people could be tried in all things? Meaning that whatever decision we made while listening to the spirit, our testimonies remain in tact. And contention never became an issue but rather love for all saints no matter the decision to get the shot. That is the test! Not whether we got the shot or not. D&C 112: 23-26 The Lord talks about cleaning house and starting with the members first. I teach the Elders Quorum and more than year ago I told them there would be fallout from this vaccine issue that would try the saints. I did not get the shot. I am as strong in my faith today as I ever have been. I studied the issue, reread many times the letter issued to the members from the first presidency, read the HOI and fasted and prayed. Then I considered the counsel to follow the spirit, ask questions and research the issue. Elder Gong wrote my wife and I that the choice was ours after listening to the spirit. No indication was made that we were being unfaithful by not getting the shot and that was our concern.

@@petertaylorpedroThank you for your comment and sympathy. I too am sorry for your dad's loss and the turbo cancers of suffering placed on them! And not a word said from leaders as if it is not happening.
I opened up those verses, they are so great, thank you. Yes, we surely will know at some point of Zion who was a true prophet and who was not.
I certainly think the myopic talk P. Nelson gave was not a good word. To me it was saying, don't worry about loosing your dad granddaughter it's so small in the scheme of things. I understand that death is part of life, that we will loose many, but isn't there heartache too and that we should appreciate and celebrate that persons life? Or that we should just get over it and it's just a small thing...myopic. I don't know if I'm making sense, but I have found scripture that Jesus is "the prince of life"! He was resurrected but he also was saying a murderer wanted him to die, not live. Doesn't he want us to be translated, to live, to look towards him and live! That we should look for that, not death. That heading towards Zion's mystery is finding translation? But, I feel pres. Nelson doesn't mind if we die. That we aren't looking to be part of Zion at all. We are so used to saying that "we all will die", but is that really what God wanted for us? Look at Enoch's people and Melchizedek's people. They were so righteous that they lived. So to me life should not be myopic, it should be as a treasure given to us. I don't know how else to explain it, but even to the church we are a people of death which has become a pit in my stomach. We should even call Jesus the Prince of Life!

The leaders are not going to make the church and it’s members a target by refusing something like this. They want members to make their own choices. I worked very hard against all of this. I was willing to quit my job over it. The thing that really got to me was when schools, museums, parks, churches and libraries were closed yet liquor stores, dispensaries and in AZ, strip clubs were allowed to be open. Although we believe in sustaining the law of the land, we are also asked to use our own discernment. I exercised this. My brother opted to get his family vaccinated. We just agreed to disagree, because each of us exercised our own free agency. My sister did not want the vaccine, but got one in order to keep her job and she has suffered many ill effects since then. My brother does not think there’s any correlation. Another hard thing to deal with is the way some people were treated for not following the forced protocol. One of the purposes of all of this was to divide us, and we passed with flying colors. I have a lot of anger and resentment about this because my father was forced into the ICU and ventilated and died on Valentine’s Day the day after my sons wedding. I wish I would’ve removed my dad from that Hospital and I have a lot of guilt about that. None of us could’ve known. In spite of many of us, learning lessons, there are many, that will go into the panic state again if they were told to.

The prophet or no one else can lead you astray, if you use “Your Holy Ghost” ! He is your Gift!

My concern is when leaders in the Church go in front of cameras getting the jab what message is that sending? It’s a strong message. It’s certainly not neutral in my mind. What do you think?

I immediately cancelled our subscriptions to ALL mormon publications when I saw rusty mormon nelson taking his jab in the church news ack in 2021. That paper is also becoming increasing leftist and worldly in its views.

@@MrBillmechanic We didn't renew our church magazine subscriptions, but then they continued to show up. I wondered if someone had renewed and paid for our subscription, but then they announced that they would now be free. Makes good recycling material.

There is only one God, one Jesus and one Holy Spirit, but many prophets. Just pray, ponder and read the scriptures. You will know in every part of your being the truth and the path you must travel. Thank you for this video.
