Nah this mission was easy. I completed it in first try in my mobile. The next mission made me want to die. Either I get fully visible or I have to crash my plane. It didnot even make any sense. When I am closure to my destination my plane automatically loses control I cannot even do anything. After lots of try I finally reached my destination I was really crying out of happiness and then I saw that I have to go back at my place😭 I crashed

it's all about control :P After banking left-right you need to push the key of the other side to rebalance the plane or it will spin out of your control and you'd lose it
I got GTA SA in 2004 when it came out, and I remember never beating it, and trust me that really pissed me off because I always pass my video games. I just looked in my attic and found my PS2 and all of my games, and the PS2 still worked, so I put in my favorite game (GTA SA) and I was on this mission! I couldn't believe that I never passed this, I was stuck on the "shooting targets" part that was too hard to pass. I tried it, and I still can't do it. 11 years later, and I still haven't beat this mission.
This is the reason why i stop playing missions and never beat this game when i was a kid.. many years later i decided to play it again and finally beat this game for the first time as an adult.. it felt like a huge achievement and sad at the same time like saying goodbye to my fav childhood game... tried playing it again but it just doesnt feel the same anymore.. i wish i could go back

This mission was the reason i was in a hiatus on gta sa for 6 months. This was the reason part of my tablet's screen is broken. I hate this mission with every atom i have but seeing everyone also having the same reaction as me is heartwarming
I despise this mission with a burning, flaming passion. I never liked any flying mission in GTA whatsoever but this is the mission that makes me rage. Life's a Beach, Cesar Vialpando, OG Loc, Robbing Uncle Sam, Wrong Side of the Tracks - I used to hate these missions as well but I managed to master them (ok, WSotT still gives me a hard time but I think it is fun). But this mission...F**k it. It makes my blood boil (along with Supply Lines and Freefall). I love GTA San Andreas, it is my favorite game of all time but some missions just makes me want to throw my laptop out of the window. But no matter, I will try and try and try and maybe one time I can pass this horrible, horrible mission. Sorry if I sound angry, but I really can't stand this mission.

For who didnt pass the mission: DUN GIVE UP, just keep on trying, keep trying, keep get used to the plane control, especially the flank one. I m frustrated at the first time, but trust me u will get better and better everytime u try. The most hardest course is circling one. You know, I think its look like a life lesson, u practice, fail, and finally pass, and u could use this skill everywhere dont you, flying a plane is actually cool. Ya just remember if u get pass this, nothing is impossible already, the zero's red baron or the freefall will be easy like shit.
Hey, I did it! I couldn't pass the 'Circle and land' part until I realized that if you just tap the gas button instead of going full-throttle, you have more control of the plane. Now I suck at the helicopter 'Shoot the targets' but I working on it. Mind you, I'm just some old guy in his 40's with no real gaming experience.
Brooo if you're still stuck there, just keep the helicopter still and shoot the trucks instead of trying missiles cuz it auto aims..as for the cars, you can keep the helicopter afloat between them and rotate it around as you shoot. It works.
@a hack's progress Yep but the machine gun (secondary fire button) aims automatically, don't use the missiles. The horn button = (jump button) it will kinda stop your helicopter a bit..finished this fucking hell of a mission yesterday..
Good old days being mad on this mission. haha was so relieved and worth it once it was all done. blood sweat and tears were loss but new missions and the future was the reward and GTA SAN ANDREAS WAS THE BEST GTA!!!
I hate that Rockstar likes to put flying and racing in gta, and then make it required to pass. WE DON'T COME TO GTA TO RACE AND FLY FUCKING PLANES. Gta is mostly about crime and shooting.
+John Torres It's the action and crime that attracts most of the audience. And not everyone is good at the whole flying thing, they should make these tutorials OPTIONAL...NOT REQUIRED. I mean, most of the fancy things you have to do in this mission isn't even required on any of the flying missions further in the game.

dude even i too felt the same but fortunately some how i completed it so here are some tips from my experience 1. as soon as the plane takes off and passes through the first corona stop accelerating the plane and just adjust the heights while passing through remaining coronas without accelerating it. 2. the helicopter mission is pain in the ass so the take off and landing are easy i hope you ll go through then and then comes the shooting targets so firstly destroy the motionless trucks by maintaing low altitude and continously shooting the rockets then turn and approach the moving trucks here you gotaa fly extremely low and hold the ctrl button until both of the trucks are destroyed by maintaing suitable distance between the chopper and the trucks and then comes the flip and barrel roll missions and here you gotta accleratare the plane and maintain proper flying speed simultaneoulsly in both the missions and the last parachute mission is easy so good luck brother i hope you ll get through this
The fact that this mission is mandatory is BS! This basically says, if you can’t learn to fly, fuck you you can’t finish the rest of the game. I understand the idea of learning to fly, but making it mandatory is just terrible.
I'm just get stucked on this mission for 10 days, and i can say that this is the hardest mission that i played by far, but fortunately i manages to passed it.
i remember doing these missions as a kid in my summer vacation. i played all night long well into the early hours of the morning. it was hot in my room and i had my window open and the cool morning breeze was coming inside to refresh me after a long night. these plane missions were really fun and challenging for me and it felt really good completing them. kids complaining that it's too hard probably like to play games that require pressing 1 or 2 buttons maximum
Flying in GTA SA or any GTA is fun AF, but this particular mission put you through shit that you didn’t need later on in the game and made you hate flying.
Hey guys!!! These mission are possible. I just finished all ten of them and started yesterday and yesterday I didn't even know how to fly the first plane properly. Now I can do the missions and go fast and accurately. These are my tips for flying the plane: -Learn how to orient the plane with small but precise movements with the right analog stick. You can swivel it back and fourth to make it go straight and erect. -Do not use L2 and R2 it is almost useless. Only do it once right after the first corona. After all of these years I am finally off to Las Venturas for the first time! Don't give up I believe in you guys!!!
To all the bandwagon casuals who say that Wrong Side of the Tracks mission is the hardest mission, those clowns never reached Zero's missions in San Fierro & this effin' mission in the desert air strip. To the people who are reliving their memories in the OG Gta San andreas : this mission really sucks the joy out of life if you arent into the flying mechanics of GTA , but keep going
I used to consider myself most useless person since I was unable to complete this particular mission. But after reading the comment section it gave me sight of relief that this mission is actually challenging.
Forcing a tutorial like this in a game never really a good idea, since the game demands you to be "perfect" even tough you don't have to since you get the point across already. Like why do you have to be perfectly land on the target even tough you already landed safely anyway?
I read all the comments below and I know that your trying hard, it's like this the toughest mission you ever had. After you accomplish this mission, there's more to finish missions harder than this. You'll learn from your mistakes and from all those who finished this mission easily, it's because your practicing it and your understanding is quite good. For me, this is the toughest mission I've ever had but didn't quit this game until I Accomplish all the missions so I'll experience how awesome this game is.
Don't ever give up, especially when you are at the helicopter stage. I finally made it on my 44th try. This mission is actually cool, challenging. I don't get all golds though, only silvers.
Same just finish it and it takes me 3 hours to do so. Im doing it non stop and pledge that i wont stop to take a rest or drink if i didnt complete it. God this shit drives me crazy and insane that my tears almost came out becuase of how stressful this is.
I took full 1 week to complete this mission. Nothing can help except practicing. May be it's just hard on keyboard. But this mission helps in controlling the plane a lot if you grind it enough.
This mission was so difficult it lowered the rankings of this game in the GTA franchise.. this would have easily been one of its greatest Grand theft Auto if it wasn't for this difficult mission that made 90% of the people that purchased this game stop playing it..
Playing through this game now and loved it up to this mission. This and the "supply lines" missions are fucking HORRIBLE. I'll probably end up quitting this game now because of them, which sucks. Do any of the older GTA games like 3 or Vice City have anything this fucking horrible in them?
James GTA Vice City has "Demolition Man" which is a pain in the you-know-what as well, and as for GTA III... I don't like that game so I don't know about that. I have heard/read that Espresso-2-Go, S.A.M. and The Exchange are the hardest missions.
It's not even that this is difficult to do, but the first one gives no indication that you need to pull your gear up, and the loop-the-loop just fails you for literally no fucking reason

dude even i too felt the same but fortunately some how i completed it so here are some tips from my experience 1. as soon as the plane takes off and passes through the first corona stop accelerating the plane and just adjust the heights while passing through remaining coronas without accelerating it. 2. the helicopter mission is pain in the ass so the take off and landing are easy i hope you ll go through then and then comes the shooting targets so firstly destroy the motionless trucks by maintaing low altitude and continously shooting the rockets then turn and approach the moving trucks here you gotaa fly extremely low and hold the ctrl button until both of the trucks are destroyed by maintaing suitable distance between the chopper and the trucks and then comes the flip and barrel roll missions and here you gotta accleratare the plane and maintain proper flying speed simultaneoulsly in both the missions and the last parachute mission is easy so good luck brother i hope you ll get through this

The fact that this mission is mandatory is BS! This basically says, if you can’t learn to fly, fuck you you can’t finish the rest of the game. I understand the idea of learning to fly, but making it mandatory is just terrible.

i remember doing these missions as a kid in my summer vacation. i played all night long well into the early hours of the morning. it was hot in my room and i had my window open and the cool morning breeze was coming inside to refresh me after a long night. these plane missions were really fun and challenging for me and it felt really good completing them. kids complaining that it's too hard probably like to play games that require pressing 1 or 2 buttons maximum

Flying in GTA SA or any GTA is fun AF, but this particular mission put you through shit that you didn’t need later on in the game and made you hate flying.

Hey guys!!! These mission are possible. I just finished all ten of them and started yesterday and yesterday I didn't even know how to fly the first plane properly. Now I can do the missions and go fast and accurately. These are my tips for flying the plane:
-Learn how to orient the plane with small but precise movements with the right analog stick. You can swivel it back and fourth to make it go straight and erect.
-Do not use L2 and R2 it is almost useless. Only do it once right after the first corona.
After all of these years I am finally off to Las Venturas for the first time!
Don't give up I believe in you guys!!!

To all the bandwagon casuals who say that Wrong Side of the Tracks mission is the hardest mission, those clowns never reached Zero's missions in San Fierro & this effin' mission in the desert air strip. I still remember jumping up & down after completing this mission after several rage breakdowns. 😅 Oh, the good times in life.

I used to consider myself most useless person since I was unable to complete this particular mission. But after reading the comment section it gave me sight of relief that this mission is actually challenging.
Forcing a tutorial like this in a game never really a good idea, since the game demands you to be "perfect" even tough you don't have to since you get the point across already.
Like why do you have to be perfectly land on the target even tough you already landed safely anyway?

I read all the comments below and I know that your trying hard, it's like this the toughest mission you ever had. After you accomplish this mission, there's more to finish missions harder than this. You'll learn from your mistakes and from all those who finished this mission easily, it's because your practicing it and your understanding is quite good. For me, this is the toughest mission I've ever had but didn't quit this game until I Accomplish all the missions so I'll experience how awesome this game is.
Don't ever give up, especially when you are at the helicopter stage. I finally made it on my 44th try. This mission is actually cool, challenging. I don't get all golds though, only silvers.

This mission was so difficult it lowered the rankings of this game in the GTA franchise.. this would have easily been one of its greatest Grand theft Auto if it wasn't for this difficult mission that made 90% of the people that purchased this game stop playing it..
Playing through this game now and loved it up to this mission. This and the "supply lines" missions are fucking HORRIBLE. I'll probably end up quitting this game now because of them, which sucks. Do any of the older GTA games like 3 or Vice City have anything this fucking horrible in them?
James GTA Vice City has "Demolition Man" which is a pain in the you-know-what as well, and as for GTA III... I don't like that game so I don't know about that. I have heard/read that Espresso-2-Go, S.A.M. and The Exchange are the hardest missions.

the circle airstrip course was a pain in the a**, but otherwise managed to do the flying school mission for about an hour
It's not even that this is difficult to do, but the first one gives no indication that you need to pull your gear up, and the loop-the-loop just fails you for literally no fucking reason
